Foote Bros. was contracted to replace all carpet, laminate and linoleum after it had been hit by a tornado on Jan 23rd 2012. They had a completely empty house to working. They started the first part of March. When we moved back into the house I noticed hard spots under the carpet everywhere, which turned out to be bad padding. It took three people from Foote Bros, one at a time and a couple of weeks apart and also the padding manufacture rep to all agree the padding was bad. Several more weeks went by before they came to replace the padding in a house now full of furniture. They brought the same padding that they were replacing which also hard the hard spots in it everywhere. It took them 3 hours to go back and get padding that did not have any defects. The installer had issues getting the carpet to stretch back out and ended up cutting out several wide patches where the rooms ran out into the hallway. He used a piece left over from the original install but had to turn it to make it fit. This caused the nap to run the opposite direction and made it stick out like a sore thumb. Plan B was to replace the carpet in the hallway. Again several weeks later they came back but the replace carpet was much darker and would not work. Another several weeks go by and they agree that all of the carpet needed to be replaced. Yet another few weeks go by before they return with carpet that was not the same grade of carpet that we had. I got Carpet One involved at this point which was really a waste of time. I got a feeling that their interest was to back up their dealer not the customer. It took them seven months to correctly carpet a 1,700 Sq. ft home. I have to heat vents that are still sticking up above the floor which have been pointed out to every person to include the installers from Foote Bros. and all they would say is they would have someone take care of it. I had to disconnect all of the electronics in the house and move some the furniture myself, three different times and they just didnt care. Stay away from these folks they have the worst service Ive ever seen.
