I had a mu
ch smaller complaint against Danny Foreman because after I purchased my car in 2007 and paid cash for it, this year I couldn't get my tags. They said I owed him money (after 3 years) and wouldn't sell me my tags. I was forced to go there and pay him $35.85 and get a form from him to then get my tags. Of course, I didn't owe him anything. It was a cash deal and covered all costs. If you mstill own your car, just wait till you need tags. He can put your name on a list and the State of Florida will not allow you to purchase your tags without paying him, up to $300, or you don't drive. This bill passed the Legislature last summer. I have purchased my tages every year for 3 years until now. The Florida Legislature gave him and every other car dealer in the state a license to steel. I am so angry over this. However, my car has been great and I think I got a good deal. Maybe it is because I bought a Hyundae, Santa Fe. I would be contacting 2,6, and 9 TV, the State Attorney, and protesting in front of his business if I had any of the things happpen to me that I have read here. I have contacted my State Representative and Channel 9 TV with my little problem. I am willing to go protest in front of his business if others want to do it. At least that would cost him some money, paybacks. I have protested many times in my life and am aware of the laws, and do it peaceably and legally. (I have been a local politician, elected twice in Brevard, years ago) This company MUST be stopped! If all of you call and email Todd Ulrick (Cannel 9) I am sure he will be interested and do a story which will also cost Danny and Joe business and save other people from getting ripped off. Email me at: sue.ford@live.com if I can help.

If the salesman tells you that they put a new battery in it, it only takes a few seconds to look under the hood and verify that fact. In reality, you should be taking any prospective used car to a trusted mechanic for an independent inspection. If you continue to rely on what a salesman tells you , and you continue to sign contracts that you don't understand, this will keep happening. Doesn't matter what car lot you go to.
