Wish I would have read all of these complaints before dealing with these people. Very unprofessional!!! Advertised cars not on the lot. Did not answer email. Increased price of vehicle twice. Wouldn't give down payment back. Cars not in good condition. Did not go over the contract. Included a deferred down payment which was never discussed. Never had such a terrible experience. Everyone with complaints should contact the Attorney General's Office 866-966-7226 and the Florida Trade Commission 877-382-4357. Very helpful and they would love to here from you.

Get real

AUTHOR: ramjet - ()

No one is defending this typical dealer. You would do well to pay attention to them.  They are trying to explain to you how to keep from getting ripped off in the future. Most dealers operate in this unethical way and reading these suggestion can help you instead of ignoring them and getting ripped off the next time too. Should dealers be more ethical? Absolutely, and some are.  However, most are not. Don't be so defensive.

Of course you're affiliated with Foreman Motors. All of your rebuttals say the same thing and no one else would waste their time defending them.

questions

Why did you agree to purchase a vehicle after the seller changed the price? Why did you agree to purchase a vehicle that was not in good condition? What does the bill of sale indicate about the dealer's policy concerning the return of your down payment? Did you read the contract before you signed it?

All This Is Under YOUR Control

AUTHOR: Jim - ()

Any of the quality issues are under YOUR control.  A smart consumer has their own mechanic check out the car BEFORE buying the car.  If the dealership won't allow you to do this, then you walk out!  The down payment matter/deposit matter...what does the paperwork say regarding that issue?  A smart consumer READS the paperwork BEFORE giving a deposit or down payment to find out the terms of such a transaction.  In regards to the actual sales/installment contract, a smart consumer READS the contract themselves, comes to the conclusion the terms of said contract is either agreeable or not agreeable to their desires and makes the decision to either sign the contract or not sign the contract.  The contract is legally binding to the consumer and the dealer/lender and NOT the salesman.  The salesman is NOT your lawyer, your financial adviser or your parent.  If the consumer does not have the mental accuity to understand the contract, then that consumer should bring someone along who does.  Finally, no need to waste your time claiming I work for them because you have no rebuttal to this, because I don't.
