I responded to Frank Jerome's ad for assistance with facebook ads. He also needed advice on setting up his website that was quite messy.

I set up his fanpage, and asked for his email. He said he did not have an account and repeatedly told me to just set up an account without providing details, when I asked, he said to set it up and give him the information I used.

I reluctantly set one up and sent him the information, he could not access it for some reason, I believe he was confused, so he got the account locked and has not been able to set up another account although I have directed him to use someone else's account several times. His language is very abusive, calling people stupid, idiot, liar, and more when he doesn't understand something.

After listening to his several lengthy emails insulting me I gave up on trying to help, but I do still have his fanpage that I spent several hours setting up. I provided:

Fan page set up
Website advice
Graphics for fan page
Product research
Graphics for website call to action button
Several phone calls and emails assisting him
Ad copy for his facebook fanpage campaign
Competitor analysis of facebook campaigns

His refusal to pay is based on my invoice not having a landline and fax number, while I do not have either. When I responded with this, he said he had his lawyer check and that I do have a landline. I haven't had one for 19 months, I have no need for one.

He has made no other effort to pay the invoice, and is extremely insulting in his emails.

This was posted by Mary Green, a totally inept and incompetent lady who purports to be a Facebook advertising expert. She is not. She is a disaster - as a consequence of her work our Facebook page is permanently locked and we can not have a Facebook page for Smart Guide Publications that suits our needs.

We hired her at a rate of $25 an hour for a few hours of work to run our advertising campaign for our Smart Guide series books. Creating an ad campaign takes just a few minutes and writing an ad takes again just a few minutes. Monitoring the campaign takes just a few minutes a day. After firing her after she failed to respond to telephone calls and delayed us for more than a month we did the work ourselves in less than an hour.

We asked her to set up a Facebook page for us - she did not consult us as to what name to use for the account and used the wrong name resulting in Facebook locking our account - we can not get Facebook to unlock the account and consequently as a result of her stupidity in not consulting us as to how to set up the account we can not have a Facebook page that is of any use.

She created a fan page consisting of our book headers which is a graphic horror which is what displays when you search for Smart Guide Publications on Facebook - totally useless. As our account is locked, we can not log in to change this as a result of the ineptitude.

As to her invoice, we did not use any of her work as will be described below. At most, all her efforts should not have taken any more than two hours - she billed for eleven hours even after admitting that she only devoted several hours - she padded her bill. We were offering to pay her but she responded to our emails negotiating a payment with unladylike vulgarity and then sent us an email saying not to write to her again and that our emails would not be read so we were not able to finalize a payment agreement. We did not refuse to pay her but required her address and phone number for our records which she was reluctant to provide.

She is an uncouth, vulgar vicious person.

Here is an analysis of her list of so called services.

Fan page set up - at most this should not have taken any more than 15 minutes - she billed three hours

Website advice - We did not ask for any website advice and she did not provide any.

Graphics for fan page - she did not create any graphics for the fan page - she simply used our graphics from our book cover

Product research - There was no product research to do and she provided no product research report

Graphics for website call to action button  - She did not create any graphics for the Buy Now button but simply sent us some images she had no hand, none of which was to our specifications. We found exactly what we needed for free with a ten minute Internet search which she could have done.

Several phone calls and emails assisting him - We spent perhaps a half hour on the phone and exchanged several emails - she billed four hours for this.

Ad copy for his Facebook fan page campaign - She created a few totally incompetent and unusable several line ads for the Facebook ads which should take less than twenty minutes in total to create. I created them in less than five minutes. She billed several hours for this

Competitor analysis of Facebook campaigns  - There were no competitor campaigns to analyze and she provided no competitor analysis reports.

Mary Green herself is the rip-off here. Not only did she delay us for more than a month with her lack of response, her saying that she could not call us back because she was dealing with her sick children and her total lack of ability, she billed us $275 for what at most should have been no more than $50 for two hours of work - work which I completed in less than an hour myself.

Mary Green threatened to go all over the Internet with reports such as the one above in a vulgarity spewed email to me rather than seek to work things out. Anyone reading this report seeking a Facebook expert should avoid her like a plague.
