To begin with I have never seen anything like this company before. It all started with a phone call. They told me if I paid 150 dollars up front I would get it back in certificates to use for making payments when I used the card. I was told that I could get 1000 dollars in a cash advance after I activated the card when I received it.

I was a fool, but I took the bait. I let them have their 150 dollars, and I waited for this card to come in the mail. Well what I got was the lamest excuse for a program I have ever seen. Two catalogs, two order forms, a small letter, and the certificates was what I received and of course the card. There was not terms of use, no down payment schedule. (When it was time to figure down payments i had to call them to find how to figure it.) Oh yea, you have to pay down payments on merchandise you order.

I called them to try to get my 1000 dollar cash advance they promised. I was told I had to be a member in good standing for 90 days and pay three monthly payments on time on my card to get this 1000 dollars cash advance. (Keep in mind that this was the motivation used by the sales rep when they first called me to sign up for this card.) The person I was now talking too was someone who worked in customer service for Freedom Financial Card which told me too that these terms were discused in the recording they had me listen too when they sold me the card. Well gee a recording, which was very hard to hear in the first place. She said they did not have to put it in writing.

Well I have been involved in many card companies and credit companies and they flood your mail with written terms of use and put it on everthing. Back of order forms, letters, etc. I never received anything in writiing stating these terms at all. They said a recording which I heard once at the time of sale was sufficient to make clear these terms.

This was like a test thing for me. I am usually not that foolish, but I wanted to see what these type of companies were like and boy did I ever find out.

Well after botching my order and other problems I have closed out this account. Lets see how fast they get me my refund. it amazes me also that they can promise to get 1000 in a cash advance to your accout in 24 to 48 hours but it will take at least a week to get my refund.

I must be stupid here to expect in business things need to be put in writing. Basic concept in Business school. Needless to say this company fails in many ways to provide its customers with adequate service. It is a bogus scam, and I recommend that others stay away from this company.

Too much money is expected up front to not get what you order and to not even be allowed to question it. They interupt you and are rude when you try to ask for help.

I will admitt my attitude towards them was bad, but they were not very helpful in listening. Had they listened to me without their constant justifications and bogus information, I would not have gotten as frustrated.

I have dealt with many companies but this one is really tops on my ripoff and scam list.

We will see if my refund gets here.

I filed a complaint with the Better Business Bureau, or I probably would not even be getting this refund. I wanted to get the 1000 dollars cash advance not merchandise anyway, but they could have at least kept their word in the very beginning.
