Litvin Law Firm based out of Brooklyn, NY is a full foreclosure defense firm seeking a positive resolution for their clients. To achieve this, the prospective client will first speak with a paralegal to go over the basics and determine if the firm and client is a good fit. After accepting the case, the firm would the send out a package with cease and desist forms. A line of open communication with lender to then attempt to restructure the loan for a resolution and the judicial process is then started. Litvin Law Firm does have relationships with Frontier and American Legal and they are hired by the firm to represent their members and provide legal representation directly with the law firm.

The firm is currently working to improve client satisfaction through the use of their database management system. Paralegals within the firm schedule follow up calls to clients every 7 to 10 business days while upper management reviews all information and keeps in proper contact with clients.

One common complaint that Litvin receives is the time frame for resolution. Each case is unique and practices to resolve complaints include reaching out to clients by Paralegals for immediate resolve. The next step would be to refer to management personnel and lastly direct contact by an attorney with client to discuss and explain processes in detail. An example of this recently has been with a client that was upset with the time it took for the process with the firm, which was ten to eleven months. The particular case was early in the process with no viable resolution in site at the time. The client complained about the process because their primary concern was to keep their home. A representative from Litvin Law Firm then fully explained the process and that each case had a unique process. Once explained, the client was fully satisfied.

Since complaints on Ripoff Report, the firm has doubled the amount of personnel in the firm to be available for clients. On or about May 20, 2012 my wife and I retain Freedom Legal Plan a Foreclosure Legal Defense Service, as our representative in a foreclosure civil sue against us filed by Green Tree Mortgage Servicing a debt collection company.  Because this a debt collection company and not a mortgage company they are not regulated by the New Jersey Department of Bank & Insurance, so we were not able to press our case against them at the Department of Banking & Insurance. 


This all began back in April 2008, when Saxon and Litton Mortgage Servicing, two (2) more of these type companies that operate in the state of New Jersey without regulation, charged erroneous escrow fee to our mortgage payment.  They took our mortgage payments for April and May of 2008, and said that they applied it to an allege escrow balance, they have also been reporting to the three (3) major credit report company, that our mortgage payments has been delinquent since April 2008 (54 months).


After being taken advantage of by this mortgage servicing companies, we seek help to correct these matters. Only to be taken advantage of by the Litvin Law Firm of New York and its staff lawyer Yuriy Moshes. We had a trial date schedule for June 07,2012.  Green Tree wanted to withdraw their foreclosure civil sue against us because our defense evidence had proven
them wrong. Our attorney Yuriy Moshes on June 07, 2012, agrees to a dismissal without prejudice without our knowledge or consent.  We were not informed of Mr. Moshes action until over two (2) months after.  In the three (3) months following we have begun to receive notice of default and intent to foreclose notices.  Litvin Law Firm/Yuriy Moshes has not done anything with our case to date.


Plaintiff has not proven that they have the right to bring these actions and have failed to answer two (2) request made to them on this matter.


Here we are seventeen (17) months and $11,070 later and plaintiff has already started sending us foreclosure notices. When will this ever end?  The parties responsible for this should not only have to return the peoples money, they should send to jail. 


If you can get some law enforcement agency to look into our claims and this matter, it would be greatly appreciated.
