Freeze Drapery Cleaners & Restoration Dishonesty of Freeze: verbally quoted $200 but billed $567 refused even dicuss with me about this issue or provide their name, used bigoted commentary over phone about my accent, quality of job is bad Little Rock, Arkansas

In November 2011 I visited Freeze Drapery Cleaners & Restoration and asked front person to give me quote for cleaning of  4 pieces of drapery that I brought with me. The front person (I do not know her name) gave me verbal quote that it will be cost from $100 to $200 plus $25 for installation. She did not give me written quote. I asked her if she is sure about this price range and she told yes. Because I thought that price was reasonable we brought one additional piece of drapery next day that was not originally quoted. On December 2, 2011 employee of  Freeze brought all 5 pieces of drapery to our home and installed them. I was not at home, my husband was and he asked how much he needs to pay. He was shown invoice for $765 plus  installation cost and taxes. He asked if this price is the price that was originally quoted . The employee told yes. My husband paid requested money. After I came home and looked into invoice I found that cleaning of 4 pieces of drapery that were originally quoted as not to exceed $200 were invoiced as $567. Additional piece that was not quoted originally was invoiced as $198. Next day I called to Freeze. The person who answer the phone refused to discussed this issue with me and referred me to manager or owner I am not sure because this women refused to give her name or position. I complained about cleaning of 4 pieces of drapery that were quoted as not to exceed $200  but were invoiced as $567. She asked me if I have written quote. I told her no because nobody offered me written quote and in her shop there is no sign that customer must request written quote. I requested just quote when I bring my drapery to the shop and it up to the shop gives me quote in whatever form their business practice is: verbal, written or other. She rudely told that she is not going to change price and hang up the phone. Next day my husband called to Freeze and tried to get manager or owner on the phone. Again he was connected to some women that refused to give her name or position and was more that rude. She was very irritated that my husband tried to resolve dispute and told him that he has very thick foreign accent and she did not understand him and just hang up the phone. We are immigrants but we both are professionals and live in USA more than 20 years and everybody understand us  but we recognize bigotry when we see it. After this event it is clear to us shameless strategy that this shop employs: gives the customers low cost quote in verbal form to win business then present invoice that far exceeded original quote and claims that the customer is guilty because he did not request written quote.

After two days two of three drapery rods installed by employee of Freeze went down because he did not use proper drywall screws and at bottom edge of one of the drapery bottom stitching came undone.

The employee of Freeze used unsafe installation practice staying on very top of 4 feet ladder that is dangerous and prohibited practice and can lead to injury.
