This Company needs to be shutdown; my client still has not received his product! Quoted one price then up charged from there. Liftgate Fee, client requested no liftgate, we get a call TWO WEEKS LATER the carrier roadway will not deliver unless we now pay extra for a liftgate to this address. We thought they had tried to deliver and it could not unload, it turns out they never even attempted to deliver. Then ANOTHER TWO WEEKS GO BY! Our client emails us asking where is his product, we call customer service and get the run around from 6 different people. We are now told the carrier never delivered because they needed to call first before delivery! WE WERE NEVER TOLD THIS, Now they want 245.00 in storage fees!!!!!!!!!!! AVOID THIS COMPANY

Freightcenter, like any other 3rd party freight broker is governed by laws in place to protect people from scams. what happens is that like other companies, they think they are above the law.
You need to report them to the US Department of Transportation. Explain to them the situation and have supporting documentation. I will tell you that I had worked there and over many, many months I have heard of similar situations. You are not alone and the more people complain, the faster they will be shut down.
The horrible story is that even if they have their authority revoked, they can recreate another quickly and barely miss a beat. If you decide to report them, you will get a response from the DOT and keep up with them.
Freightcenter has done many shady things that I have seen over the years and the management/owner are unethical. I'm glad that you posted this, now go get 'em. Keep us informed!!!
