Front Range Corvette, Gerald Thompson, Robert Thompson, Warren "Bud" Allwine Rip-Off, Dishonest, Crooked, Lying Thieves! Westminster Colorado

Bought a junk car (1966 Nova Super Sport)in May 2002, delivered the car to Front Range Corvette to restore. Received a written estimate of $14,197.42 to restore and paint the vehicle.

Was promised verbally a completion date of about 3-4 months. Paid them $8500.00 up front, another $1500.00 in Aug. 2002. In Sept. 2002 they demanded more money. They wanted $1000.00 per month in order to "keep the shop running". We refused to give them any more money until there was some progress on the car. They refused to work on the car. Late Sept. 2002 we picked up the car.

In early Oct. 2002 we hired an attorney to try to resolve the issue. The attorneys' back and forth discussions, etc. took until April 2003. In a meeting at our attorney's office, with their attorney we were promised that the car would be completed in 3 mos. and would be in good running condition... a real show car! So, we delivered the car back to Front Range Corvette.

Car was completed and we picked it up on Sept 12, 2003. We were promised an appraisal, which we still do not have. We were told to let them know if there were any problems... they would make them right.

Needless to say, none of the above has happened. They refuse to speak to us about anything... saying that their attorney advised them not to speak to us any further.

This company lied up front about completion date and have continued to lie whenever a question or concern was presented to them.
