Frontier Communications Scam, fraud, terrible customer service, lies, steals! Stamford, Connecticut

Where do I start with this horrible company? We started having Internet problems in June, and we still have them to this day. We live out in the middle of nowhere and they are the only company that services us or I would drop them like a hot potato. But that is not even the biggest problem.

We were scammed into a faster Internet connection with the promise of a gift card. When the service tech came out he showed us the connection speed at 18 bps, on frontiers check your speed website!!! Well after a few more days of slow, sluggish Internet I called again and was told we cannot even get 4 bps! So they lied about that and their check your speed website is a scam also. Well we had them switch it back, but now our bill is higher. We apparently lost our original pricing when we tried to upgrade to better service! We had to do the research to find this out, they were not even going to tell us that we cannot get these speeds. We had to sign on to another contract to get the lower price again. They are tricking you into this so you have to sign on or pay a higher price.

When ever we try and call and the automated service asks us to enter our phone number we end up sitting on hold for hours and nobody ever picks up the phone. But when we do not enter our home number they pick right up!

So all and all we ended up not getting the gift card, the better speeds, and we are paying more than we were! This should not be legal.

Apple should not be involved with a company like this that tricks you into upgrading something you cannot using their logo!

Customers please try and go with a different carrier! It will save you from a lot of frustration, money and time. Because they are banking on the fact that it takes too much time to straighten out, and its working for them. As soon as another carrier comes out this way we are hopping on with them. Do not let their promotions fool you! Make sure that it is available where you live because they will not tell you before you try and get the service.
