Litvin Law Firm based out of Brooklyn, NY is a full foreclosure defense firm seeking a positive resolution for their clients. To achieve this, the prospective client will first speak with a paralegal to go over the basics and determine if the firm and client is a good fit. After accepting the case, the firm would the send out a package with cease and desist forms. A line of open communication with lender to then attempt to restructure the loan for a resolution and the judicial process is then started. Litvin Law Firm does have relationships with Frontier and American Legal and they are hired by the firm to represent their members and provide legal representation directly with the law firm.

The firm is currently working to improve client satisfaction through the use of their database management system. Paralegals within the firm schedule follow up calls to clients every 7 to 10 business days while upper management reviews all information and keeps in proper contact with clients.

One common complaint that Litvin receives is the time frame for resolution. Each case is unique and practices to resolve complaints include reaching out to clients by Paralegals for immediate resolve. The next step would be to refer to management personnel and lastly direct contact by an attorney with client to discuss and explain processes in detail. An example of this recently has been with a client that was upset with the time it took for the process with the firm, which was ten to eleven months. The particular case was early in the process with no viable resolution in site at the time. The client complained about the process because their primary concern was to keep their home. A representative from Litvin Law Firm then fully explained the process and that each case had a unique process. Once explained, the client was fully satisfied.

Frontier Legal Plans and Litvin Law Firm Freedom Legal Plans used deceptive tactics to steal my money from me dont trust them  Internet

I contacted Freedom Legal plans in June 2010 after falling behind on my mortgage.  I found them online and so I called them to get more information.  They quickly started using some nice word tracks which created some urgency for me to make a decision, they made it seem like I would be homeless very soon unless I hired them to find an attorney to

stop that.   I became scared and then stressed out, so the person on the phone explained that this program is great

and this law firm is aggressive and since I am in an active foreclosure the stage was far enough were the program would be very fast,  in and out. 

 15 months later I am still in the same position and now I have a sale date on my home.  Each and every month I

would call and send emails asking for information.  The turnaround for any of these scammers to call you back is terrible.  Sometimes I would go weeks before hearing from anyone.   Each month I would call for an update and I would always be told that things take time and they would have the law firm call me.  Then, once and a while a person would call me

from the law firm and give me attitude when I asked what is happening.  I spoke to a gentlemen and I asked him a very

simple question, what are we trying to accomplish with the lender?  He could not explain anything, nor give me an

answer as to what they were attempted to change on my loan whether it be the principal, the APR, etc.  They just said

they would submit a packet of info to the lender and wait for a response.    The same thing happened month in and month out.  

When you finally do get ahold of someone they make you feel terrible and stupid and all this is normal.  I asked several people at Legal Plans and at Litvin Law to explain this process to me, no one would or could.   They just keep saying this takes time and all this is normal.  Great!  I say, I get it, now I just want to know what you are trying to do for me and my mortgage, still no answer.   Each month its the same BS from both places, they do just enough stuff to make it sound good and they also have great work tracks they follow that include a bunch of good legal mumble

jumble, that just keeps people like myself at bay. 



When you call Frontier / Freedom they answer Legal Plans which means they plan on changing their name often.   They only call you just before the scheduled time to take the monthly payment from your account,  then nothing until the payment clears and thats when you get the call How is everything?, the attorney is working on your case still, have good week bye .    SO, here I am in September of 2012 and still havent made any progress, in fact I have begun searching for a bankruptcy attorney to handle a BK since I am losing the home now.  All this after being lied to and paying $6000. 



There really is much more to put here, I am starting to get depressed just typing this complaint.  

There is so much to this story I am reaching out to anyone that had the same thing happen to them, I would like get

our money back!
