Complaint against Fulfillment International Corporation:
I had received an automated call (November 24, 2003) and was informed through the automated recording I had won a free vacation and to enter a particular code and was then forwarded to a live representative where they told me I had won a free trip to florida and that they needed my credit card to pay for the hotel stay and vacation package, however everything else was taken care of by them. I thought that was good. I gave them my credit card and they charged it immediately. I was given a authorization number and then given a number to call if I had any questions. After I hung up, I felt like I had made a mistake in doing this. I called the number back that was given, it was NOT IN SERVICE. Then I called the number that had just called me and it was an automated service with no way of getting a hold of a live representative. I was so frustrated and made several attemps by email and was re-directed each time. The last time, which was August 2, 2004 they replied to my email saying this: August 2, 2004

It is with extreme regret that we must announce that due to circumstances outside of our control, our company has been forced completely out of business due to total insolvency.
Our shipping records confirm that the luggage, electronics, and software products package you purchased has been delivered to you. However, with much sorrow, we have to inform you that the complimentary holiday bonus certificate must be suspended. We are truly sorry for this most disappointing news. The demise of a long-standing company is a painful experience and we sincerely regret that our devastating company loss affects you and your family.

I would like this person who had done this or company to be dealt with as they have taken many thousands from people. I would like to see if it is at all possible to get any money back from them somehow. I could provide you with the correspondence and proof of payment made to them.

3rd attempt: Wednesday, February 4, 2004
LAST attempt: Monday, August 2, 2004 (Informed by them there business was insolvent and forced closed)
