On or about November 10th I received a call from Robert Donovan from Fundamental Consumer Strategies stating that I expressed interest on the Internet about obtaining a credit card to reestablish my credit. With all the junk e-mails I was receiving it may have been possible, but I wasn't certain.

The sales pitch was very convincing. Mr. Donovan told me that if I give them authorization to take out the one-time only fee of $299 from my checking account they would return a Visa credit card with a credit limit of $2500. Being close to the holidays it sounded like a great deal, so I gave the ok with a check over the phone. I knew the funds weren't going to be available until the 19th, but I was told that was not a problem. I then waited until approximately DEC.15th to call them to verify that everything was still ok and that I would still be getting the card.

Tonya told me that I probably wouldn't receive it until after the holidays because of the heavy mail traffic. Once again I thought that was possible and waited. Between Christmas and New Years I called again and got a recording stating that they would not be in the office until Jan 3rd 2005. Starting on the 3rd, I constantly called and got the busy signal. I deliberately called around 6 p.m. one night and got another message to call during their hours of 9-5 Monday - Friday.

Funny thing about that is the phone line is busy during those hours. On Jan 6th, I got tired of being jerked around and called the Attorney General in PA to file a complaint. They in turn sent me a form to fill out and they are now going to launch their own investigation. My wife also helped by coming across this website that suggested to file a report with my bank. I already did that and file the dispute form through them and had my money returned via my bank.

I guess they will now go after the bank that took the money for those theives. I hope theyare locked away for a very long time... AFTER THEY GIVE US ALL OUR MONEY BACK THAT THEY STOLE FROM US!!!!!! INFACT, I HOPE THEY ALSO HAVE TO GIVE ALL OF US THE $2500 THEY PROMISED WITH THE CREDIT CARD!!!!!!
