Buyer beware! Your simple grooming can cost hundreds, just like mine did. Upon speaking with owner Lorraine, she denied the POSSIBILITY that the pet that was dropped off healthy and couldn't see out of one eye when picked up had nothing to do with their service.
She then proceeded to push blame to groomer, who she said is the responsible party, but refused to release his info! BAD BUSINESS FURRY FRIENDS!

First, I was never ever given YOUR business card with YOUR phone #, I dealt with the store. Second, I NEVER came in without an appointment, I never scheduled with you, so are you going with what she told you? The day in question I NEVER EVEN SAW YOU!!!!!!!I tried to deal with her but her attitude was not worth it. I feel sorry for you. You have no idea the things she says.
If you care about animals so much, why didn't you EVER try to see how Lexi was (even before the lawsuit)? I asked to speak with you when she said it was your problem , she said no, but if you were aware why didn't you try to speak to me about this when you knew I asked to speak with you?
YOU did not inform of a problem with her eye, Lorraine did, by telling me it was a hair in her eye,which at the time seemed reasonable. When I called her a few hours later then she changed her tune (you had already gone for the day). I guess all those vets and everyone that you get referrals from aren't the ones that threw you out or fired you? Since all this happened I have heard about your reputation.
Michael, I was always pleased with the grooming you did, these situations happen it just was not handled properly. At this point your boss has brainwashed you to lie for her, she is a liar and now you are too.
I was not trying to lay blame on anyone, I was trying to get things resolved in a fair manner. But the bosses attitude and lies would not allow it. And that is what this report is about. I was not trying to get something for nothing. I used to refer alot of business to Furry Friends, alot! And Lorraine knew it, so why she acted the way she did is beyond me. Now I have nothing good to say. I had strangers going there just for the rave reviews I gave. Now those strangers all get details of this incident.
Bottom line is that my dog was fine when she came to be groomed and she left with an injury to her eye that took 6 weeks to heal, how it really happened will remain a mystery.All Furry Friends did was lie about it.
Until I reach my grave I will stand by the events of this incident and tell everyone I know.
I did think better of you, but after reading what you title "the truth" I see that your boss has rubbed of on you and you have caught the lie syndrome also. I guess its easier than dealing with reality

Now #1 My cell number is all over my websites. #2 Lorraine would not give the woman my number because I was in the hospital sick. She told her when I would be back and to come and see me then. She threatened the store, me and Lorraine and said she would see us in court. Which she did and lost. I am sorry this happened to her dog. People blame grooms all the time for hurting thier dogs. I understand there are alot of bad grooms out there. I come across dogs that grooms have hurt or cut all the time. But I haven't survived grooming this long hurting my customers dogs. I am a certified dog groom, but I am not perfect. No one is. But I DID NOT HURT THIS DOG. I feel for this person, if she honestly thought I had done this, then why did she ask me If I would groom her dog somewhere else, after she lost her court case? That's a contradiction. I told her I
would call her But I never did because how could I trust her again. Hence this report. Neither Lorraine nor I would lie to a customer. I always notify the customer of anything I find when grooming there dog, I feel that it is important to let them know. As a matter of fact these are reasons people come back. We have hundreds of customers and we would not be in business if we hurt thier dogs. I have 2 veternariams and 3 breeders that recommend me to all there customers I would not have a good reputation if what this woman says is the truth.
I have 4 dogs myself and I was an assitant vet. As an advocate for animals I am appalled that someone would accuse me of this when I am the one who informed her first that there was a problem. My cell is on 24 hrs a day I can always be reached. Everyone gets a business card with my number and websites. I have nothing to hide and am always willing to help anyone.
Please when you read the original report remember that some people are never happy about anything or blame their problems on someone else. That is life.
I am not makeing light of this situation. I am not mad about this report. One person does not destroy a reputation. And why is it that this person would not use her own name on the report?
For all my customers and friends I wanted the truth to be known. I do not lie and don't like it when someone accuses me of it. I hold not bad feelings toward this woman and wish her the best in life.
