I responded to a free trial ad box on the internet for 14 day trial of Hoodia Fusion. It was only going to cost me $4.87. I was billed that and then 2 weeks later, still hadn't received my trial, I was billed again for almost $90. All links on the website ended in "error"s and the only number I had to reach them was the one on my bank statement with the charge.

When I called I got an asian girl named "Princess" EVERY SINGLE TIME!! Knew something was hokey with that! She said I accepted the auto shipment when I ordered the free trial and I knew I didn't and argued that. I got the run around and sent it back and finally after about 8 or 9 weeks, did get my money back. This was last fall.

Next phase of the scam: I was just viewing my bank account online on June 30th and low and behold they got me again!!! This time the company listed was CS Center and the charge was from Herbal Savers. When I called them that day they told me they had acquired the other company and had several calls regarding exactly what I was calling for. They said the other company told them that mine and thousands others were all active accounts (I canceled it when I had the issue before as my bank told me to do) and thus I was billed $69.97.

I got a pleasant girl (Amber)the first time and she said I should get a refund in 7-10 days. I called back in 10 days and got a pleasant young man (Cord) who said it would actually take 10-14 days. I called again after 3 weeks and got a rather rude woman (Judy) who said "we don't even HAVE to refund you, we are doing it to be nice" basically, when I expressed my anger at not having my money yet. I informed her that actually they DID have to refund my money if in fact the company they bought ripped me off because they bought all the liabilities as well as the assets of that company. She said she was going to get me a check issued instead and it may take up to 2 weeks.

Well, I called again today, 8/19,it's been 4 weeks since that phone call, and was told that a credit was issued on 8/14. When I asked HOW it was issued she said "it doesn't say". I told her I wanted to talk with someone in charge because I didn't want to yell at her and she put me on hold , then came back and said the man in charge was "really busy with other things" and couldn't talk to me now but if she gave him my info he would look into it. I told her to let him know that if I didn't hear from him tonight that I would be making some OTHER phone calls instead. I was thinking the media and then I found this site. Oh and I still haven't received any kind of product for which I was billed!!!

I'm about to make another attempt at talking with someone there because I KNOW he will not call me back. I am going to my bank tomorrow morning and changing my account and filing a fraud report with them to hopefully get my money back. They weren't too helpful when I told them I didn't authorize this and even told me they couldn't put any kind of flag on my account to avoid it happening again.

I just filed my report last night and with the info I found on here I got even MORE mad than I already was. I signed the report saying I was going to call them again and I did. I got a different person named Kevin who told me that my refund was already cleared "a week ago". When I asked him how (remember the last girl couldn't tell me the answer to that) he said electronically through their merchant bank. I said "a week ago? what was the date?" He said, "well, let's see a week ago, that would have been the 7th?" There was no date on the supposed file and the 7th was almost 2 weeks ago!! I said let me talk to your manager or someone in charge and got the same response that the girl had given me. He doesn't usually talk to people and I told him he BETTER talk to me or I was going to go to the newspaper and the news media as well as my bank in the morning. I couldn't believe it when Kevin called me back an hour later!!!! He said his boss authorized a refund and I should see it within 72 hours. The "floor manager"s name is Mark Matthews I was told. So again I told him I hoped this was true or else I was going to file fraud charges against them.

Went to the bank this morning and got my debit card canceled and requested a new one so that my account could NOT be touched again through that avenue and signed a fraud report. The girl at the bank told me if I didn't get my money by Monday that she would file the report. I got home from work today and my money is there!!!! Less than 24 hours later! Unbelievable!! Thank you ripoffreport.com, I really didn't think that I'd ever see that money again but you gave me the courage and gumption to call them up and stand my ground to protect my rights!! I'm going to write a letter to the editor of my local paper this weekend and let everyone reading it know about this stuff going on. Good luck to everyone else attempting to get redemption. Please, don't take their lies and bull stories. I have half a mind to call back and tell the people answering the phones exactly what their employer is doing but I think they might already know. I could hear people on phones in the back ground while I was talking to the guy/girl and hear the same crap being fed to other poor fools (no offense, I'm one of them).....I'll keep you posted on what happens if anything. Thank you again!
