Dangerous Pilot Mr. Thierry Riviere
Mr. Thierry Riviere who was a Chief Flight Instructor of Decouvairte Aviation at Gatineau, QC Which was the direct result of this flight school shutting down with lack of business, students running away, unprofessional attitude and just complete lack of knowledge of operation and training of this CFI Mr. Thierry Riviere .
This CFI did not even know how to complete Student PTR's, Student Files, Instructor Records , Daily Flight Sheets so you can just imagine what sort of flight training and ground school training we all were provided. The owners of the flight school found out, Mr. Thierry Riviere failed to perform his duties as per Transport Canada regulations and Company Policies and Procedures, further they also found that this person was working in Canada Illegally without any work permit or authorization from the Human Resource Immigration Canada.
He was then working for an International Flight School called Phoenix Aviation Flight Academy, also located at Gatineau, QC and within a month of work and holding the CFI position, I guess the owners were more involved inside the business and realized that this CFI Mr. Thierry was a Corn-Artist and did not know any thing about holding the CFI position and lacked all sort of training skills. He was once again let go from holding such CFI Position before he could cause further damage or even get this flight school shut down.
DO you really want to fly this Dangerous Pilot - Thierry Riviere, who has shown as a Pilot, Teacher, CFI & Instructor - he has no knowledge as per Aviation Regulations to work for any corporation.

I used to work with Thierry for several years and I've got to mention that he was a brilliant, trusty and very professionnal CFI. He is also an excellent and precise pilot, always concerned about safety.
The whole description made about him on this website is completely wrong.
I truly recommand M. Rivière.

All the report is a fake. First Gatineau Aviation is a new flying school in Gatineau and begin end of August (just see the date of the report).
Second, Thierry Riviere never been employed by Gatineau aviation

In fact and really, Phoenix aviation didn t give the salary to mister Riviere as CIV. And when he was fait up he just try to resign his position.... then there is why the report again Thierry riviere appear.
Other proof : Mister Riviere must have problem with transport canada if he did like the report explain, and he didn t.
Phoenix aviation use mister Riviere to open in gatineau without pauing anything. Some others pilots and CIV were like him.
Phoenix aviation was supposed to get the visa for mister Riviere. That they didn t do.
This report come certainly from this compagny, because the photo included in the report is a passport picture, and....just think about it !!
Gatineau Aviation don t have any connection with the old flying school Decouvairte aviation. This last one was closed in janyary of 2103...
Im the owner of Gatineau Aviation and everybody having interest to know the real story can contact me at anytime. And i will refer to some others people they can explain they story about phoenix aviation or mister riviere too

This Ripoff Report about Mr. Thierry Riviere is non sense. I have worked at the same company DecouvAirte Aviation with him and I can assure you that he is everything but incompetent.
First of all, he was not the CFI but rather chief of operations, and manager. The reasons that the flying school folded is the sole responsability of the last owner who was redirecting the funds to his numerous other companies (funny that they do not show anywhere in the report, except for DecouvAirte which does not exist anymore...) to try to keep them afloat. AND mismanagement on the owner's part by selling too many pakages on internet social media sites like Tuango, GroupOn, Deal Of The Day etc... for too low of a price which made the profits minimal. No emphasis was put on finding new students and the planes were quite often down for maintenance. Not good for business, right!
The owner did not have enough money left to pay the airport fees, gas, local rentals, salaries, parts or maintenance.
Gatineau Aviation has nothing to do with M. Riviere nore with the old school DecouvAirte since it is a new Flying School that just opened this month in the same locals. Mr. Riviere never worked for Gatineau Aviation.
Phoenix Aviation Air Academy hired M. Riviere but did not kept their side of the deal and M. Riviere simply pulled out of the company without ever being paid. Look up the owners names on internet and you will find a lot of interesting stuff about them; like fraudulent stuff, Transport Canada infractions, issues with thier dog bitting students, police reports etc...
This Report is FAKE and its sole purpose is to discredit M. Riviere by one of the parties mentionned above.
