I WORK FOR GC SERVICES COPPERAS COVE. A LOT OF PEOPLE DON'T KNOW THAT MOST OF THE COMPLAINTS THEY ARE FILING ARE AGAINST THIS BRANCH AND NOT THE HOUSTON BRANCH. IF YOU RECEIVE A CALL IT IS FROM HOUSTON. BUT IF YOU CALL BACK YOU GET COPPERAS COVE.

I WORK IN THE TOYOTA/LEXUS DEPARTMENT. WE TAKE PAYMENTS, REPOSSESS VEHICLES AND GRANT EXTENSIONS... NEVER EVER GET AN EXTENSION. WE ARE TOLD THAT WE GRANT THEM AND TELL THE PERSON THAT IT WILL TAKE ONE TO TWO PAYMENTS AND IT WILL EXTEND THEIR CONTRACT BUT ACTUALLY IT DOESN'T.

THE EXTENSIONS COME DUE AT THE MATURITY DATE ON YOUR CONTRACT, YOU RECEIVE INTEREST ON THE EXTENDED PAYMENT THE ENTIRE LOAN AT WHATEVER YOUR APR IS. SO IF YOUR APR IS 18% IT IS POSSIBLE THAT YOUR LAST PAYMENT WILL BE ABOUT $1000 OR MORE. YOU THEN GET A FORM TO SIGN IN THE MAIL.

YOU DON'T SEE THE SMALL PRINT TELLING YOU ABOUT THE INTEREST BECAUSE WE PREY ON PEOPLE WHO ARE HAVING PROBLEMS MAKING THEIR PAYMENTS. SO GC SERVICES HAS OFFERED OVER TIME AND VARIOUS METHODS OF CLICKING CERTAIN ITEMS ON OUR PHONES TO LOOK LIKE THERE ARE MORE OF US ON THE PHONES THAN THERE ACTUALLY ARE. SO TOYOTA LEXUS THOUGHT THEY HAD A CERTAIN NUMBER OF COLLECTORS WHEN ACTUALLY IT IS ONLY ABOUT 1/2 OF WHAT THEY ARE PAYING FOR. THEN YOU HAVE PAID TIME OFF AND VACATION TIME...FOR THE PAID TIME OFF IS CALLED PTT TIME...YOU ARE SUPPOSED TO REQUEST IT FOR SICK DAYS AND THINGS LIKE THAT.

THE ONLY PROBLEM IS YOU HAVE TO REQUEST IT UP TO 2 WEEKS AHEAD OF TIME FOR IT TO BE DENIED...HOW DO YOU KNOW YOU ARE GOING TO BE SICK 2 WEEKS AHEAD OF TIME? THEN WITH VACATION DAYS, YOU ARE TOLD THAT YOU CAN'T TAKE YOUR VACATION DURING CERTAIN TIMES BECAUSE THAT IS WHEN TOYOTA LEXUS SENDS THEIR BRANCH HANDLER DOWN AND THEY PULL THE PEOPLE THAT THEY JUST HIRED OUT OF TRAINING AND PUT THEM ON THE PHONE SO IT LOOKS LIKE THEY ACTUALLY HAVE THE NUMBER OF PEOPLE ON THE PHONE THAT THE COMPANY IS PAYING FOR.

YOU CAN'T TAKE VACATION WHEN THE TOYOTA REP COMES BECAUSE THEY NEED THE BODIES. THEN YOU CAN GET FIRED BUT NOT REALLY FIRED...YOU SEE, YOU GET FIRED BUT YOU HAVE TO WAIT FOR THE PAPERWORK TO OFFICIALLY COME DOWN FROM THE HR OFFICE THAT IS ABOUT A 20 SEC WALK FROM THE DEPARTMENT. THE PAPERWORK CAN BE DELAYED FOR UP TO 3 WEEKS...WHY YOU ASK BECAUSE THEY NEED YOU THERE SO THAT THE TOYOTA REP SEES ALL THESE PEOPLE ON THE PHONES.

NOW ONCE HE LEAVES, YOUR PAPERWORK IS THERE AND YOU ARE GONE. THEN YOU HAVE MY ALL TIME FAVORITE...YOU GET WROTE UP BECAUSE YOU TAKE AN UNAUTHORIZED BREAK (ON YOUR DAY OFF). THATS RIGHT, I WAS OFF, WHEN I CAME BACK TO WORK THEY HAD A WRITE UP FOR ME (THAT I REFUSED TO SIGN) STATING I TOOK AN UNAUTHORIZED BREAK. WHEN I BROUGHT IT TO THEIR ATTENTION THAT I WAS OFF THAT PREVIOUS DAY, IT MYSTERIOUSLY DISAPPEARED. THEN I PUT IN FOR PTT TIME FOR IMPORTANT FAMILY EVENTS.

I PUT IN FOR IT ALMOST 2 MONTHS IN ADVANCED...BOTH WERE APPROVED. THEN ME AND THE FLOOR MANAGER HAD AN ARGUMENT BECAUSE SHE STOOD OVER ME AND BEGAN TO TAP ME ON MY SHOULDER BECAUSE I DIDNT ANSWER HER ( I WAS ON A CALL). SINCE I FILED A COMPLAINT ANY DAY I REQUEST HAS BEEN DENIED AND THE ONES THAT WERE APPROVED I MYSTERIOUSLY DIDNT GET PAID FOR AND THE HR DEPT SAYS I HAVE TO TAKE UP WITH MY MANAGER (THE ONE WHO POKED ME).

I FILED A COMPLAINT WITH THE DEPARTMENT OF LABOR AND THE TEXAS WORKFORCE COMMISSION AND NOTHING HAS HAPPENED. GC SERVICES IN THIS AREA EMPLOYS LOTS OF PEOPLE...FOR A WHILE. THEY HAVE AN ABSURD TURNOVER RATE BECAUSE THEY CAN HIRE UP TO 160 PEOPLE EVERY MONTH BUT THEY FIRE ABOUT 120 EVERY OTHER MONTH. OR LET ME BE CORRECT, THEY TELL PEOPLE WHO ARE ABOUT TO BE FIRED..."IT WOULD BE BEST IF YOU RESIGN, THAT WAY WHEN A FUTURE EMPLOYER CALLS THEY WILL GIVE YOU GOOD INFORMATION TO THEM" THE TRUTH IS THAT THEY CON MOST INTO RESIGNING SO THAT THEY DON'T HAVE TO PAY UNEMPLOYMENT TO THAT PERSON.

IF YOU RECEIVE A CALL FROM TOYOTA/LEXUS FINANCIAL SERVICES...IT IS GC SERVICES A VENDOR THAT ONLY IS UNDER CONTRACT FOR NOW WITH THIS COMPANY. THERE ARE REPS THAT DO UNAUTHORIZED DEBITS TO ACCOUNTS. IF YOU MAKE A PAYMENT WITH A REP YOUR INFORMATION IS STORED IN THE WESTERN UNION SPEED PAY SYSTEM. THE REP WRITES DOWN THE NUMBER AND CAN GO BACK INTO YOUR TOYOTA ACCOUNT AND DEBIT YOUR ACCOUNT AS MUCH AS THEY WANT TO BRING UP THEIR CEV.

MANAGEMENT IS AWARE OF THE ISSUE...AND NOTHING IS DONE. GC SERVICES DOES SKIP TRACING. THIS IS WHEN YOU WON'T ANSWER YOUR PHONE OR RETURN CALLS TO THEM. THEY GET YOUR ADDRESS...AND DO A SEARCH. THEY CALL YOUR NEIGHBORS AND TELL THEM WHO THEY ARE AND THAT THEY ARE CALLING BECAUSE YOUR VEHICLE ACCOUNT IS PAST DUE AND COULD THEY DELIVER A MESSAGE TO YOU TO CALL THEM BACK. THEY CHECK THE INTERNET FOR MYSPACE PAGES, TWITTER PAGES, ETC.

SINCE I STARTED WORKING HERE I HAVE FOUND OUT THAT IT IS ILLEGAL THE THINGS THAT ARE DONE. BUT NO ONE SEEMS TO CARE. I HAVE FILED COMPLAINTS WITH TEXAS WORKFORCE COMMISSION (THAT SEEM TO DISAPPEAR), DEPARTMENT OF LABOR (WHO DON'T SEEM TO CARE), TOYOTA AND LEXUS (WHO BLOW THE COMPLAINTS OFF) AND THE MAIN GC CENTER IN HOUSTON (WHO FAX MY COMPLAINT BACK TO THE COPPERAS COVE BRANCH WITH ALL MY INFORMATION ON IT. I AM CURRENTLY SEEKING OTHER EMPLOYMENT BECAUSE I HAVE MORALS AND THIS VIOLATES ALL OF THEM. IF I HAD BETTER SKILL I WOULDN'T HAVE TO WORK IN SUCH A PLACE BUT I HAVE TO SUPPORT MY FAMILY. PLEASE IF YOU READ THIS BE WARE.
