My GE home phone a Slim DECT model 28115 was great to look at but couldn't hear well if there was any back ground noise. After troubleshooting the device w/a Thomson INC. tech I was instructed to return devices to 1101B Burgundy in ElPaso TX for repair or replacement.
I sent it off on 10/01/08' insured for $200.00 and also confirmation of delivery. October 4th package arrived to the Post Office in TX. and a delivery slip was left on the door. (NOBODY WAS THERE!)
I checked the tracking info on line on 10/14/08' and still the package was unclaimed, puzzeled I called the 800 # and spoke w/a guy who said,"don't worry about the package and if I have to go over to pick it up today I will." And of course a NEW case #. I asked the guy if he would just Email me to let me know everything is ok, he took my address and said he would.
I went to track my package on the 20th of Oct. and noticed it's still waiting for Thomson to claim it, Now I'm upset. I called the 800# and spoke w/"Christine" I told her my issue w/Thomson and my delivery. I said the guy I spoke w/on the 14th said no worries he would get the package himself that day if need be. Thats when I learned all calls are routed to Singapore-I asked to speek w/supervisor immediately-never happened-suppose to call ME back-never happened-I learned from the Postoffice that w/in 15 days the package is not available for redelivery so on the 14th I would have been w/in the time frame-but was told B.S. so now on the 20th my package isn't in the systm anymore,desperate I went to Walmart to explain my situation-they couldn't help. I haven't received my package back 10/23rd.
