GECRB/Care Credit Reported me 30days on Credit Report without my knowledge for one $4 underpayment Orlando, Florida

It has taken years to get my credit score in good shape as I am a single mother who had a bankruptcy 9 yrs ago.  Finally got it to a 667 as of October!  I am now pregnant with twins and filed for a home equity loan a few days ago to make renovations to my home to make room for new additions.  I was denied.  I have since come to find out that in well over two years of NEVER being late on my Care Credit account and most times paying more than the minimum balance, the month of October, I only paid the minimum as we've been saving for loan costs for the home equity.  With that said, I didn't realize it and underpaid my minimum by $4.  I was not made aware of this error or notified in any way that Care Credit was going to report me.  They hit my credit reports with a 30 day delinquincy which tanked all three of my credit scores almost 100 pts!!  That made me lose the cut off off the loan and now I am unable to get this loan.

I was told by Care Credit there is nothing they can do so I have written a letter of dispute and I am waiting to hear back.  I had to open up a new account for puppy medical bills recently as the one in question was no longer usable from so long of not using.  It is safe to say that since they are going to make it impossible for me to get a loan to make room for my babies over a $4 underpayment when I have been a loyal customer for so long and not even offer some sort of resolution, I will be paying that balance and cancelling this account.  Very sad as I had plans to be a customer for many years to come.
