I had a credit report for apartment rent in Minesota. I found that I had new credit which I don't that at all. I can't reach GEMB/peachdirect company because I didn't open this credit card. I opened gecaf/gemb credit card but I paid off this card.
I want to know who used this card and who opened and how can I solve this problem?

This is probably related to the data loss they had in Oct 2007, a magnetic tape was missing from the Iron Mountain storage facility. GE Money did not make a very good effort to inform account holders of the potential for identity theft and did not publicy announce it until Jan 08. 650,000 customer records were compromised.
They claim to have found the missing tape - and also claim it was not accessed, however GEMB likes to believe its customers are stupid. There are far too many people who would know how to access the data without ever leaving a trace.
Do what you need to do to do with filing police reports and cite GEMB's lost customer data as the reason behind it.
