GGW/M.R.A. VIDEO ripoff, dishonest, fraudulent billing, fraudulent ripoff business Hollywood California

My seventeen year old son ordered a pornographic video from this company. He has a Visa card through our bank for teenagers. It is preloaded with funds. He went to buy gas at the gas station and discovered he didn't have the money that he thought he had to make the purchase. This was because this company, without his consent, after ordering only one video, continued to bill his credit card for additional videos that he did not order.

When we found hundreds of complaints from other persons regarding unauthorized billing on badbusinessbureau.com and we realized he was the victim of fraud.

This companies website does not disclose their address, or state for that matter, and offer a toll free number for ordering but a regular long distance number for customer service. Don't bother caling the customer service number, you'll get a recording that says "We are temporarily experiencing technical difficulties. We apologize for any inconvenience. Please try your call again later".

I called the toll free order line and on a recording it said you could mail your check or money order for your order to P.O. Box 150, Hollywood, California 90078. They apparently change their P.O. Box number often because other complaints listed their address at different P.O. Box numbers.

Apparently at the time of ordering, you're asked if you want to join their membership, but nowhere does it say you'll be billed $24.99 each month for membership. You discover this only after they've stolen your $24.99.

When I called the toll free order number I told them to cancel any memberships and they said they could not do that, that I would have to call the customer service department and I told them I had tried and was not surprised at the recording. She gave me a toll free number (not the regular long distance number on their web site for customer service) and I told her that I would bet my bottom dollar that there would be a recording on that toll free line also and I dialed it on my cell phone while I was on the land line with her and sure enough, I got the same recording as I did on the regular long distance number.

Not only was a minor able to order pornography from them, but they knowingly and fraudulently billed his Visa card without authorization.
