GMAC car insurance Unfair, Unjust points to my wife's driving history for an Accident she was a Victim of. Central florida, Florida

On July 7th, 2012 my wife was struck from the rear in our 2005 chevy trailblazer along with 3 other
vehicles. the driver of the car who was not paying attention and was looking at road signs and maps who struck my wife's car admitted his mistake to law enforcement and was cited as this happened on a instate that traffic was stopped due to high volume hour in traffic. some people was injured at the scene along with my wife and daughter. We were contacted by the other insurance company and they paid to repair all cars and medical bills with no problem. Unknown to
my wife and I GMAC put 5 points on my wife's driving history without even notifing my agent or
us. As a result of this action when my policy came up for renewal my premiums increased greatly
by over $400.00. when I asked my agent he did not know why either and as he checked with them
he found it was because GMAC charged her with 5 points with the accident. I agent said that was not right as well as sending a copy of the accident report along with a certified copy of my wifes driving record taken 3 months after the accident. All forms were summitted to my agent to forward
to GMAC to remove the points which they have not done as of this day. 10/15/2012. I filed a report with the state of Florida insurance commissioner against GMAC which takes days and gives the 20 days to respond during which I need to renew my car insurance and when going to other companies they fine this 5 points on wifes record so I am quoted hundreds more due to their error.
I was assured by the state they would have to reinburse me the difference but in the meantime
I pay hundeds more for their error and their what I call attemp to fraud the consumer out of funds.
If this happens to you don't give up, file a complaint with the state, request they get fined and in my opinion I would never recommend GMAC to anyone for car insurance ever !
