floridas hardest hit program has helped us try to save our home after i lost my job. After finding another job for much less money FHHP contacted GMAC to see if they would accept the program .Florida state will pay for the morgage and any money owed and GMAC would refinace the loan to fit our budget. I thought this was great finally something is out there to help homeowners .So after 12 months of doing the program Florida paid GMAC all 12 months of morgage payments and other back money , now its time to refinance, well GMAC sold the morgage to OCWEN Morgage who told us the made no deal with us and they will not refinance or help in anyway
After a few weeks of talking with them they finally agreed to let us apply for an in house loan modification .
Ijust recived my forclosure letter from their lawyer That was alot of money that florida paid out not only for us but many florida familys who also are not getting any help
That was a big waste of floridas money
