J.P. Morgan - Titan Financial False Advertising Ripoff Lying Dallas Texas

A representative of this company contacted us february of this year with an offered of a secured credit card for a one time fee of $299. We agreed and made the payment with our debit card. The time frame came and went and we had recieved no card. By 3/8/04, we contacted the company through a 1-800 number to inquire why we had not recieved our card yet. We were then told it would take 12 to 26 business days to recieve the card (they did not tell us that during the first call) and that if we had not recieved the card by 3/26/04 to contact them and they would put on a tracer on the package.

We did not recieve the package by that date and was not able to get ahold of them until 3/29/04 to let them know we had not recieved the package. They gave us a tracking number and I asked them for there address and told them we wanted a refund. We contacted them again on 3/31/04 and again told tehm we wanted a refund. We were told we would get a refund, but they would not say how long that would take. This time when asked they said there name was Titan Finacial. We next contacted them on 4/5/04 and got nowhere with getting our promised card or a refund.

We called them on 4/7/04 and was told we should have recived our package by now and that if we called back the next day they would tell us why we had not recieved our card yet. We did and on 4/8/04 we again asked for a refund and were told a new pacakge had been sent to us on 4/1/04. We were informed that this package would contain a refund form to fill out and send back if we stil wanted a refund. We did recieve the package a few days later but it did not contain the promised card only card offers and did not include a refund form. The only thing we have heard from or about them since then is a letter we recived around 10/1/04 from the BBB on Dallas sending us a copy of a letter they recieved from Titan Financial 9/23/04 saying they had sent us a refund which they never have.
