My mother purchased an alleged North Face Denali Jacket for $100.00 from Gababellainmotion.com for me as a gift. The Jacket which arrived was clearly a knock-off, in poor condition, which immediately began to fall apart the moment I tried it on. I emailed Gababellainmotion immediately and requested information regarding facilitating a return or exchange for the defective item. I initially received an email with a return address and RMA form, but without a shipping label or RMA number. I knew the transaction was suspicious and so I opted to ship it back via UPS with a tracking number to verify delivery of the item to the address provided by Gababellainmotion. Sure enough, UPS delivered the item (I have UPS delivery confirmation) but when I tried to check the status of my return, exchange, there was no record of the Order on Gababellainmotion's website. I left two voicemail messages on the so-called customer service voicemail box, requesting a return call with no response. I additionally emailed the customer service address provided on the website with no response.

As I am an attorney, I delivered a demand letter for a full refund, including the cost of return shipping, and the following day, the phone number was disconnected, the website was down, and the emails bounced right back. In short, the company vanished! Obviously Gababellainmotion did not refund the cost of the knock-off North Face Jacket, which, including the cost of returning the item, amounted to approximately $125.00. I notified my mother to contact her credit card company immediately, to prevent further fraudulent transactions.
