Dropped off son's X-box 360 for repair on 1/5/08. Was told would take 5-10 days. Given IN writing an official Repair Agreement that states clearly, "All labor is covered under a flat $50.00 fee per system repaired". Hand written on the top by their employee, "Call if needs more than $50.00 for repair". Called on 1/20/08 @ 2:00 PM talked with Jim. Said they didn't get to it yet and there were 2 other X-Box systems ahead of ours it will be another week. Called on 1/26/08 @ 1:34 PM. Talked with Jim again. He said it would be a few more days. Called on 2/2/08 @ 4:09 PM not sure who i spoke with; however, said the drive will be an additional $25.00 and i asked what the total bill was, he said $75.00 and can have it done in 1/2 hour. Said I will be in tomorrow and confirmed hours. Went in today at opening 12:00 PM. Spoke with Mike Connolly then Kevin Connolly and then back to Mike Connolly. Said the system hadn't been looked at because the initial employee didn't write a date down so it will be an additional 5-10 days. Then proceeded to tell me that the initial employee that took down the information wrote on the wrong form and the price was now $75.00 base price plus parts. I showed him the form and said that I wasn't debating the price but regardless, the price should be honored. He said no it doesn't have to be. He went blatantly against his own pricing and increase the price without anything written in writing or honoring the original agreement. I looked at him and said, "You know that is bad business not honoring the prices that you have made an agreement to." He then proceeded to rudely say that either I either agree to the new price or take the system home. I took the system home, as now I don't even trust the business and the owners.
