I emailed garage-toys.com with questions about some for their products. I received no response. I eventually emailed two more times. These emails were over the period of a month. No response. When I threatened to file a complaint, I got a response. I was directed to the manufacturer with my question. Actually I had already tried them, and they, like garage-toys.com had not responded. My questions were reasonable ones. One more email to garage-toys.com failed to turn up the relevant information. They could have asked whoever they buy the products from.

Expecting a mail-order company to answer its emails is reasonable, but far from a given at garage-toys.com. Something is wrong here.

This complaint was handled 5 years ago and is still residing on this Ripoff Site.  There is no way of getting it finalized and off this site.  Since this minor communications problem, the emails went into spam box problem, we have done more than 5000 transactions.

This Shipping Question was from a Hawaii customer and was resolved right away, it just wasn't what she wanted to hear.

It's not a rip off per se, but it is a company that people might want to avoid. The products in question are not widely available. That's why I tried repeatedly to deal with this company and that's why I care that they are not up to par.

I have a question for you, HOW is this a rippoff? You stated that you had e-mailed them with a question about their products and you didn't get a response. And in a time frame of a month you had e-mailed them 2 more times, and only AFTER a threat of filing a complaint, for what I don't know, you then got a response. If I had tried calling a business with some questions and didn't get a satisfactory answer, I WOULDN'T file a complaint, I would try another store, or buy something else. Why don't you try that next time before filing a report here. And where is your complaint about the manufacturer? Please respond.
