my personal certified autographs collection had sold almost immediately
in 2006, I have been buying and selling autographs for resale (in the
last three years) from other sellers. I had purchased this convincing
autograph for resale in January. It was not until last week
that eBay pulled my listing of this Elvis item with its claim that this
autograph is most likely "not genuine." Ebay tries to police the
autographs which appear on eBay, but this one fell through the cracks.
And I was the unknowing victim. Beware of autographs without
certification from an authenticator or without a COA (certificate of
authenticity) backed by the seller for the life of the autograph. Be
mindful that COAs can also represent a bogus statement regarding
authenticity. Paypal does not provide protection for the sale of
counterfeit autographs and will not accept a dispute for an item in this
category. Therefore: Buyers, beware!! This company refuses to give me a refund.
