Gateway Energy Services Corportion they said that i was on a budget and was not the budget rate always went up and never stayed the same and they said they would be lower then my other company and was not i left gateway and got a $1700 Montebello, New York

i started gateway thinking that things would be lower like i was told and at first it was then every month my bill keep going up and not down i was never phone about it or never got letters that it was going to go up then i got a stated that my contect was over and my rates were going up i was told when i started that there was never going to be a contrect so when i seen what it was going to be i drop them and went back to my normal company i got a last bill from them and it was $1700 icalled and ask why and they said it was a budget and we were never on one so they shouldnt of charged us that and when ever i tried calling to get it fix i was hung up on left and right

All any consumer wants from their electricity supplier is reliable service at a fair price. It is outrageous that companies like Gateway Energy appear to be misrepresenting their rates as competitive when they are in fact much higher. This practice of overcharging for electricity appears to be a blatant violation of consumer protection laws, and Meiselman, Denlea, Packman, Carton & Eberz, P.C. is actively investigating a potential class action against Gateway Energy.
