Company is actively working sites in counties and cities in which they do not hold a license in. Actively working on jobs requiring a permit and they do not have one.

This company has a habit of not paying employees. Has failed to comply to ovetime laws of this state. Has failed to follow the guildlines set forth in the company handbook on payment distribution. Has payed overtime compensation to some employees but not all, at the sole discretion of the owner to decide who gets what, and when they get it.

Has forced employees to use thier own personal vehicles without any type of re-imbusment for maintenance or tires and when vehicle breaks down employee gets let go. In 6 months and 10000 miles this company provided 7 qts of oil(1 Change worth) and 1 oil filter and the very day the oil pump went out on the vehicle, the employee was terminated. Being an "at will" state this company continues to abuse the system, and be allowed to fire at will when the chips are down for them financially.

Has required the use of personal phones by several employees without any compensation toward phone bill yet requires the phone to be on during certain hours.

This company has accepted payment for upgrade sales made by employees and will not pay the commission even though the company handbook states, the commission is paid when the company is paid, and that even if he has to close the sale on a renovation, the company pays full commission. Yet he paid $500 on what was supposed to be $1500. 10% of $15000.

Has employees in the feild required to know what lie to tell anyone who might question anything about licensing or permitting or who is the contractor for the job. Has multiple companies entangled up together in fabrications as to qualifications and licensing.

And yes I could validate a few of the rip off reports/BBB against this company, I saw some of that stuff for myself.

Just goes to show how dishonest this guy is. Cares so much about someone else record but he is the one with several rip off reports, I run a successful business in Texas, I survived him ripping me off, but the Industry would do well to have guys like this go under. I have friends in his area still and they will report him if they ever see his job-sites. He has a lot of enemies in that business now.
When I worked there he was getting work from a service company that cleaned the pools, they would recommend him to do repairs and they would get a kick back percentage, and if he built a pool he would pay another contractor to pull the permit for him. Very common in the Industry. He could get a permit in Hillsborough so he had some sort of license there, but it was not a Pool Contractors license. He mostly operated by doing renovations which don't need permits.
I have proof that he did jobs requiring permits but didn't have permits, I have pictures of Greg himself in the pools in question. But unfortunately he county didn't seem to care when I tried to turn him in for it.
Funniest thing about it is he claims since 1979. That was his dad, not him, he might not of even been born then!

Such Ignorance! and now getting sued by me!

Turns out by posting this latest rebuttal Mr. Garbo has breached the agreement we made when he settled with me for a small fraction of what he owed me. And in the last 2 weeks since he filed it, I have interviewed several lawyers who want the case.
And to set the record straight, he never even had an application process much less a background check on anyone he hired. At one point he was letting them live in his warehouse cause he couldn't make his payroll after he needed  lawyers for his drunk driving and gun charges. Course that was after the guys house arrest bracelet got taken off. Greg and just about his entire staff had some sort of arrest record and he was well aware of it and his own.
After I left his company, I was approached by several former customers to help go after him.
He settled with me so I could care less what he does, but i will sue him for libel, just on precedence, he has no money or he wouldn't be doing what he's doing to his victims.

I got away from him you should too!

Didn't know this site existed until  I received solicitations from their affiliates to remove negative comments about my company for a nice sum.

All I have to say is from the lies put forth above, this has to be a former employee, Jarrod M. Anderson of Hudson, Fl.

1- He claimed he had ten+ years experience in the pool construction industry
    after his background check came back he had spent 7 years total in prison for
    various charges. So a man in his mid thirties claimed he played semi proball for 5+
    years then ten years of pool work. When did he fit in his 7 years of prison?
2- All our licenses are statewide, so how could we be working in unlicensed counties?
3- He tried to threaten us with all of the above and all was documented false.
    Cami Lawless 813-288-1242 x 14 of the US Dept of Labor and Wages destroyed
    all of his claims
4- Tampa Police "Event" number 08-065763 on 11-3-2008 was created by violent threats
    at our office towrds the office staff, myself and other employees resulted in him  
    having to be removed from our premises by TPD officers.
