The Association pet policy states that residents can have only one dog only and up to 60 lbs. The disfunctional Board prior to Gaughans arrival was flexible on this rule. Folks had two dogs and the Board didn't say a word about it.

As soon as Gaughan Companies, Kim Dahl flew in on her broom stick, people with two dogs got a threatening letter saying "you have 2 weeks to get rid of one of your dogs. If you don't comply, we will fine you and take legal action against you." I had to tearfully say goodbye to one of my beloved dogs as did other dog owners "Heartless and cruel".

She used the by-laws as a weapon to turn this building up-side-down then Dahl gave it a BIG shake.

She states, "I take my job very seriously and I will run this building like a business." Dahl, this is a residence with lives and homes and people with feelings!" Your Nazi aproach to the financial bottom line is uphauling.

I emailed her with several concerns and she basically ignores me or "I'll get back to" and she rarely does, for example, I want to know where I can get a copy of the Board meeting minutes, it's been a month now with no response.

I told her about exterior lights being out and 3 months later they are still out. The President breaks the by-laws and she won't say anything because she caters to the Board only and jumps to their every command with little regard to the rest of the association. What a "suck-up."

Gaughan created a "special assessment" on already financially stressed residents for building repairs. So far nothing nothing is being fixed. Dahl refuses to disclose "what repairs" when asked. There is a wall of secrecy with her and the Board against the residents.

The residents can look forward to more special assessments and increased HOA dues. Here's the kicker, NOTHING IS GETTING REPAIRED AND THERE IS NO TRANSPARENCY!

Gaughan Companies have been managing for only 8 months and what a disaster. I am seriously considering selling my Condo and moving. They have made it that uncomfortable. But who cares, as long as they get their fair share.
