So these guys are a TOTAL SCAM! They claim to have created a generator that allows you to generate Greendot Moneypak codes. They have a blog:gdmpv13.blogspot.com/2012/08/now-available-v13-trial-test-edition.html, http://greendotgware.blogspot.com

I will share the REAL way this process works, and hopefully save someone some time, disappointment and most of all, MONEY! So here it goes...

You first start by replying to gdmpv13promote@gmail.com. Hes going to email you back explain your options to either pay $200 for the standard edition or a one time $1,000 fee for the "ultimate" edition, where you can generate unlimited codes.

STEP 1 He will instruct you to get a prepaid card of some sort (so theres no ability to trace or dispute) and transfer the funds. Next he will send u the program, but guess what? IT OPENS BUT YOU DONT HAVE LOGIN INFO TO USE IT!!

STEP 2 He will then claim that he told you upfront that logins are sold seperately (LIES! LIES LIES) and direct you to his "friend" (most likely himself again) for the logins. This guy sends you a price list for the logins along with the turnaround time. $500 gives them to you in one minute and $200 within 10 days. (serviceprocessorpass@hotmail.com)

STEP 3 You get the logins and they work to log you in and you almost think its working, but then you get an error message saying that it cannot connect to the SQL server. Error-26

STEP 4 You contact him again and he tells you "ohhh thats an easy fix, you need MSDN hardware to run the program" and once again he has a "friend" who can help to the tune of $1200!!! Lol thats when I finally realized it was bullshit and pulled out altogether. (jasonprogrammer42@hotmail.com)

Summary: This guy/guys are full of it! Its a psycological game that leads to endless charge.s You figure once youve bought in initially, you feel like you have to continue to the next step in hopes of it paying off and that you havent completely wasted your money. IT NEVER DOES!!! The funniest part about it is the whole time theyre actually trying to convince you that they are reps from the Greendot company! I should have known better just based on that alone, but i guess i needed to believe it would work. Go with your instincts, NO SUCH THING AS FREE MONEY!!!

Something tells me that after enough people get wind of this that they will continue doing this to ppl, just under differnt names, blogs and email addresses, dont let them get away with this! PASS IT ON!
