General Electric Appliances - Refigerator Water Dispenser freezes, no information posted on WEB site, Spent $70.00 to find out no repair just thaw out & would of cost me $90.00 service from GE! Internet

My water dispenser stopped working as did my neighbor's with in same week, I called GE CARES and could not get a technician on phone want to schedule a service call for $90.00.  I went to local repair service and only cost me $65.00, he said easy fix, un- plugged two tub and under my refrigerator and called for water, the tube from the refrigerator side spewed out water.  He told me to thaw out Freezer!!!!  Why GE Cares put that in the manual or website, no they tell you call for water for 2 mins., but that is if you are starting up a new refrigerator! The best idea we had was put plastic partition with Duct tape and defrost door only to save frozen items and a hair dryer!!!!!
