The impact knocked me out almost instant and after a little while i am guessing 2 or 3 minutes maximum i smelt a burning like electrical coming from the steering wheel, low and behold it was the air bag that decided finally to limply deploy a good two and a half minutes after the collision. To top it off it didn't even deploy correctly it melted something on the steering wheel and one short breath it was like a large Nerfball i want to say. In all my pain i had to force a laugh at what i spent $65,000 on when the AirBag popped out like a muffin which wasn't even enough to hit my chest let alone save me from death.
This is crazy and i am sure i am not the first one who decided to go after them for this defective product. I am sitting here now with a $723.00 car payment and insurance that is bound to go through the roof after my mis hap, but what really gets me thinking as i sit here in stitches to my forehead and having to use peroxide to wash my hair for the next month to not get an infection is i paid them over 60K for this car and once all is said and done interest and all i will bet i have paid almost 100k and this car could of killed me.
Are these people still road testing these cars? What happened to the commercial " You could learn a lot from a Dummy" Remember when they started they were gung ho about it and now i sit and wait. The Airbag should of deployed and i plan on pursuing this very soon with a lawyer.

Search Tipswhy shouldn't he be able to write his report 5 days after the accident ? I understand that his seatbelt failed and also the airbag when he rearended the other car on the freeway. he also explained that he is making payments of over $ 700,- a months for a car that could have killed him.
I feel that a consumer in the price range of over $ 60,000.- has the right to expect quality. My 2008 Corvette developed a grinding noise at deceleration when it had less than 15,000 and even after more than 6 trips to 3 different Chevrolet shops the noise is still there. The car is still under warranty but GM is not able to find out what it is. The have not made any offer to take the car back or to exchange it. To me it looks like they don't have any pride at all in their products - their attitude shows that it is normal for them if a $ 68,000.- car makes a grinding noise like a beaten up Yugo.

There are too many inconsistancies in your story. It is not bieleavable as it stands.
'Last Sunday on August 24th 2008 I was involved in a collision'
'my face was blown in to the windshield and ultimately recieving massive head injury for which i am dealing with day to day.'
How can you then file this report on 8/28/2008?
'I therefore rear-ended the stopped vehicle in which i was wearing my seatbelt'
Now you are in the car that was rear-ended?
'as i sit here in stitches to my forehead and having to use peroxide to wash my hair for the next month to not get an infection'
That is the 'massive head injury' that you are 'dealing with day to day.'?
'i will bet i have paid almost 100k and this car could of killed me.'
You don't seem like the type of person that could afford $100,000 to buy anything.
By the way, why did you hit the stopped car? Were you 'on' something?
