June 9th 2008, my friend and I was working out Fort Meade MD. After our lunch break i stopped at a gas station at Anne Arundel Mill. As we were leaving out, a white van pulled beside us. Asking did we want to buy a surround sound system.

A couple months before hand we were appoached by another white van selling some equipment. I didnt any money then, so i already was eager to see what they had. We pulled around the back of the gas station and they opened the van to a couple boxes.

They told me the story about their company putting an extra one on the truck and they were trying to get rid of it cheaply. They followed us to the bank were we made to transaction for $260. I then got one of their phone numbers, explaining how i wanted to beable to get in touch with them because i wanted to sell the product.

When i got home, i first checked on ebay to see how much they were selling for. Then i googled the product. As i started to read the blogs, i saw that people was saying that it was a scam, and that the system didn't work.
I begin to plug it up, and to my surprise it didn't work.

I called the guys up acting like i sold the equipment and wanted to buy some more. They asked me how and i told them the same way you got me. They told me to meet them at another gas station.

I drove up and saw one of them they told me to park next to them. I got out and as soon as i saw the one that i gave my money to, i punched him and knocked him out while the other guy ran. I went into his pocket and took $140 out of it, and then i left him there.

About 2 weeks later while working still out Fort Meade, the police ran down on us like I killed somebody. While sitting at the station i found out that someone saw him lying there bleeding, and they called for an ambulance. With the ambulance call in the county a police is dispatched also.

To make this story short, iam being charged with 2nd degree assualt, robbery, and theft under $500. I lost a good job with an engineering company and is facing felony charges because of my decision making. I have no money and have to fight this case with a Public Defender.
