We informed Genova Michigan and at first they suggested that we should file a claim with our home insurance. After we declined to do so they contacted their insurance company.
They sent somebody to inspect the damage and the pipe, but all we got in return was a letter that they deny our claim, no explanation whatsoever. Genova doesn't even respond anymore and takes no responsibility at all regarding the failure of their product.
So, as the little consumer we really don't have any chance to go against the insurance company and/or Genova because we don't have their resources.
