GetResponse says NOTHING about a no-refund policy when setting up the account. I canceled the following day after spending 45 minutes on hold trying to get support help (which is ironic, considering their company name). Although I never used their service at all, my credit card was charged a monthly fee of $45. When I called GetResponse about it the fellow (Jason) who finally answered said that indeed my account was canceled but their policy is to keep the fee anyway. I switched to Constant Contact and have been assured that they have NO such fee-thievery policy and that if I should cancel I'd receive a refund. Beware of GetResponse!

GetResponse is pay-as-you-go service. That is why, we do not issue refunds.

The customer can close their  account anytime and they will not be billed

again but they are responsible for any charges already incurred.
