I signed up with Gibson Trust in 2000. At first they made it sound great. I was really in trouble and I needed help fast. They offer that. I signed up with them. To start they told me I had to send them an initial payment of $518.00 that would be held until the debt was paid off and the last payment would be that initial payment they were holding.
I started sending my payments and they were all being held. Gibson Trust stated that it took three months to processed but to keep sending my payments. A month later I get another statement stating they were raising my monthly fee to $548.00 because the creditors wanted more money. Months went by and my creditors were getting part of the money or none. On top of that Gibson Trust raised their fee and paid themselves more money that the agreed fee. This caused me to drop the program and force myself to file bankruptcy.
Many times I called the Company and argued for them to return my initial payment. They resisted and argue back, stating they couldn't do that because I had dropped the program. Many times I would call and get their answering service, that would eventually just end up getting disconnected. I would speak to the representatives and they would just say they would get back to me on the situation. The same thing happen to my roommate. She joined with me and tried to get her initial payment and other monies back and they totally disregard us.
For all these years we've been trying to get our money and now I fall upon this website which left me in total shock to see how many people Gibson Trust has ripped off. I hope that everyone gets their money back. Is not right the way they have cheated us. All these people from the company should go to jail or be forced to paid for participating in such a disgusting scam.

Thank's for the insight on gibson truse..Of course we the people got it again screwed..We are the low man on the todem pole trying to struggle to live..So guess we all learned one hell of a lesson never trust anyone..But it sure teaches our young socity that it's ok to do this kind of stuff cause you can get away with it.. I am tired of writing and getting no responses about gibson..So I guess they are FREE FREE to do as they dam please..Why we on the other hand got it in the end.. Thats America for you..Seems like there is no one there for the inocent to protect them..Guess we are on the wrong side of the law... Thanks again for your imput.

Hearing is for accountant/trustee fees

I do nom think this hearing is going to be the proper time for going after the O'Toole clan. The hearing accoriding to the paperwork I received is to consider the accountant and for trustee fees. The U.S. Trustee is paid a fee on a quarterly basis. They receive a percentage of the total amounts paid out by the company in bankruptcy.
The U.S. Trustee will be paid long before any of us get paid. In the event the Trustee is not paid, then they will immediately end the bankruptcy which was filed to protect them (Gibson) from the creditors. I am pretty sure that is how it works. Regardless, the bankruptcy situation is not going to bring about any criminal charges and all of us who were ripped off are just part of a long line of creditors.
If there are no assets or revenues, the largest creditors will be paid pennies on the dollar. The further down the list you are, the less you can recoup. I would love to attend and have the opportunity in the right forum to see these scumbags get what they deserve. I dont think that will happen in the bankruptcy courts. Good luck to all of us.

Gibson Trust Court Date for bankruptcy

To all those people out there who may not know it Gibson &Trust gold fincancial or what ever they have gone by.There date in court for this is Aug.2nd 2004.at 11:00 am in FortLauderdale Fl. in room 308.So all that can get there please do so and don't let them get away with taking all of our money..I for one can not make it but I am sure not to many people have been notified I did inform the states att.gen office.They didn't know of a court date for this.
So here is what i have last recived about gibson and trust..Anyone that can make it please go and let the justice system know what they have put you through and that this is not fair to people trying to make a honest living..We thought we were doing the right thing by listening to these people and now we are the victems of a scam.And struggling to survive and not stealing from others to make living as they have..Sure hope this helps people of pampano flordia and in flordia..
So they may have a chance to get there money back..Because if no one shows Im sure these people will get away with what they have done to all of us..So we shall see what our court system does for us and hopefully it will be the right thing..I do have doubts about it tho.. sure hope this helps someone.

Just a little foot note I did make a call to the attourney general's office. Monday June 7,2004. Adivsed them that this was still going on with gibson trust. They said it can't be. I said yes it is and for them to go to this sight and read it about what is going on. I was told by other person on phone that the courts were sitting on this and they didn't know why.And I would recive a call from a Ralphial Garcia whom to my understanding has taken over this long line of B.S. with gibson.And that i would get a call the next day.W
Elllllll here it is friday the 11th 2004 no call of course.I didn't think i would get one..Marta L.Moakley was the first one to contact me about Gibson Trusts bankruptcy.
Well folks she is no no longer assiastant att.gen.Which I found out in phone conversatin that she is no longer there.
Told them it was nice to be notified and I wasn't. And that Gibson's scheme is still going on to go to this sight. HUMM guess they din't.. We all are victems of something vicious and the state of Flordia evadentaly don't care about the victems cause we are the ones suffering not gibson..Keep calling the attounery generals office and see if you get a nudge going AMERICA..I tried and heard nothing. And I can't have my phone bill sky rocket from call's that are never returned and spew my guts about gibson and nothing done.
Sorry none of us are getting any good news about Gibson just that we know they are still putting the shaft to people and nothing being done about it. Good Luck cause it looks like we are all screwd for now.

I have been waiting for about a year to hear from the states att. gen. office on Gibson Trust.The Last I recived was a letter from att.gen.office that gibson trust was fileing bankruptcy and I thought this chain of events would stop. Oh I see now it hasn't and we haven't seen a $$$ of our money And another letter from the att. generals office in Fl. Just that the irs would get there money first. But looks like to me gibson trust is still getting more than there fair share and we are getting the screw job.Send your letters to the att.gen office ask them why has this not stoped and why are we the one's still being victims of there abuse and thiefery. Is our goverment working for us or against us. We are the victims,not the theifs.Is that our problem I dont know anymore. I was raised to be honest not to screw others. Wounder where that came from cause right now that's about what we all are getting done to us screwd all the way around.And it was our money to begin with Not there's and everyone is gettin the dip but us.We are getting the shaft. This is unfair to all of us.
