Gift card mall Nothing short of a scam, rude, non caring, ripoff industry that has nothing in mind but their own profit IBlackhawk Network Worldwide Headquartersnternet, California

This company purports to offer a gift card service that would benefit those who wish to send a gift card to a loved one on a special occasion. Yet, they end up causing nothing but frustration, anger, and hurtful emotions between the sender and the recipient. My daughter fell prey to this scam, with her well intended efforts to send a dinner card in tampa florida to one of our favorite restaurants for my 74th birthday. Wow, did that backfire. She advised me to be on the lookout for an email that never came.

First when she called to find out why it wasn't sent, there was a runaround of, 'we still have 6 hours to send it today'. Then when not received, i called the 800 number, and got a very rude reception, and the statement 'sorry we can't do anything' she'll have to call. Well, she did, and was given a runaround again, delay delay. So i finally called them again, & once again, i got a different rude and somewhat nasty person who told me that as the recipient, I have no business calling them, they have to speak to her. Can you imagine her embarassment of having to continually prod this outfit, when its obvious, they never intended to send Anything in the first place.

I have advised her to immediately call her credit card company and file a dispute of the charge before it is put on her statement. We can't let non-caring folks take advantage of those of us who care for one another by exploiting our pocketbooks to further their profits. Its just basically wrong and every one of us who is duped in this manner needs to make everyone else aware so that they might be spared the aggravation, embarassment and dismay of creating a mistrust of all online businesses. Caveat Emptor. Am hoping this report will enlighten others before they make the same mistake!
