Gill's Appliance Repair Failure to Fulfill Promises, Internet
The service sought was repair of a pellet stove. The promise made was that the work was guaranteed. The problem is the pellet stove was never fixed. Following the initial visit and payment Gill never came back to fulfill his guarantee. At first he made appointments, which he canceled twice (once as I was in transit from work to home for the appointment). Upon his second canceled appointment he asked that I forward him the make/model of my unit since he knew I needed an auger which he would order and not charge me for. I followed up with his office after 2 weeks to inquire about when the part would be in.
During that call his wife advised she wasn't sure but she thought a week from when I called. She was going to call me back. She never did. I called a week later to follow-up yet again and ask for an appointment to fix my pellet stove. I left a message since no one answered my call. Since I called on a Friday I thought maybe I would get a call back the next Monday. No such luck. I left a message again the following Saturday (which was yesterday) and have not recieved a call back. Gill has appointments on Saturdays "by appointment only" so you would think he could return my call given the time that has passed that same day. No such luck. At this point it is clear to me that Gill is NOT the reliable, respectable, repairman that I thought that he was. He has deceived me, he failed to follow through. It is now very cold and I need my pellet stove. This is very frustrating and disappointing.
