I have been working with the merchant (car parking) for over 1 month now. The voucher says that it has to be "activated by Oct 1", not that it will "expire by Oct 1". There is a big difference between the two. Gilt refuses to address my complaint. I even complained to Better Business Bureau, but Gilt evades the issue and focuses on expiration date saying that I contacted them late. However, I have been working with the merchant (the manager of the parking is willing to vouch for it), and after being fed up of going through several rounds of trying to work with them I reached out to Gilt.
I have been a regular Gilt customer, not anymore. The company is fraudulent with poor customer service, and doesn't stand behind its products and services. Very very disappointing. You hear all this press about two Harvard grads starting this company, it is going downhill big time. I hope their competitors take over, competitors that have much better customer service - RueLaLa, Ideeli, and MyHabit.
