This guy had worked with martel (2010), mmg (2011), created all these outfits every year since to sell pipedreams to canadians. guy claims to have moved billion dollars of property every 90 days. but has no money to pay his staff. heard through the grapevine supposedly he owes affiliates tens of thousands in unpaid affiliate and marketing fees for packing rooms. always blames his partners aka financial partners who are bankrolling his lifestyle.
he will use you to get access to your lists and database of clients and soak them dry on the backend sales pitch of investing in florida, vegas, phoenix, atlanta and tenesee for $7500-$25000. He Owns NO US investment properties. ask him to show you deeds and hud 1 on the so called deals! ask him how many properties does he own/control using the strategies he teaches?
he's very crafty and dodgy and dances around the answer. lost his entire portfolio but tells people he sold off. known to argue and use nlp tactics. makes most of his money selling thousand dollar trainings and upsells you on buying mls properties, land and so-so deals from wholesalers his guys call outta of the yellow pages or off the street from bandit signs. disorganised.
his teams have no financing and he misleads you on no money down investing to get you to part ways from your money and your on your own unless u help sell training courses for him. http://www.worldadvantagemembers.com/
none of these people seem to have stuck around. looks like they rebranded into this outfit http://www.canadianalliancenetwork.com/

POSTED: Saturday, April 27, 2013We've attended many other seminars (Rich Dad, Tigrent, REIN, EREM - Everyday Real Estate Millionaires, and a few others). We own several rental properties in Canada already. We were looking to get into the US so we took Steve Martels course and then CanInvest (ie. Glenn Purdy).
Here's the quick summary so far:
Rich Dad (Tigrent): decent content but overpriced for what you get - their main objective is to sell you more bootcamps up to $60K = Not recommended.
REIN: Great for beginner to intermediate, however it has recently gone in the wrong direction with their new president (Richard) = Recommended for the Canadian research and the Acre weekend for beginners.
EREM: Great: Recommended for the intermediate to advanced investor looking for different strategies other than long term buy and hold.
Martel: Don't waste your time. The guy is full of you know what.
Glenn Purdy: The best US course we've taken so far. He knows the US and we don't need to take any other US courses after attending this one.
We went from Glenns 3 day course down to Florida with their teams who were very professional and most importantly they had access to deals that we could not find on MLS or through other Florida Realtors.
As far as this "ripoff report" goes - we understand that MMG hired Glenn to teach MMG's 3 day seminar, however MMG did not fulfil on any promises and that's why Glenn left that organization. He then worked with Canadian Advantage/Alliance which also went sour due to a bad partnership. He has since partnered with Paul Hecht (Everyday Real Estate Millioanaires) which is the event we attended. Paul and Glenn are the owners of CanInvest. Paul has a great reputation in the industry and together they delivered on everything they said we would get.
In summary - we've been through many courses. Glenn Purdy has made some mistakes in who he has worked with. However it now looks like he's on the right track. We are very satisfied and have found the right people to invest with in the US (ie.Glenn Purdy and Paul Hecht). These 2 guys are highly recommended and we are very satisfied.

Glenn Purdy Real Estate Scam ?
AUTHOR: Bill - (Canada)
SUBMITTED: Monday, January 21, 2013
POSTED: Monday, January 21, 2013We took the 3 day US weekend training in Calgary where Glenn Purdy was the instructor. We paid $1K and the information in the weekend training was very good. If you want to go to the US with their team its $15K, which we did.
In talking with other attendees prior to going, we learned that other companies charge up to $100K for training and it's not as good. Others take you to the US and keep you in a classroom most of the time telling you that you need their $25K - $35K mentoring program. So - we were prepared ahead of time.
Our US trip to Florida had no classroom time, no upsells and we looked at real estate the entire time from private wholesalers, MLS, preconstruction and pocket deals. We purchased several properties with no issues.
After reading this, we dug deeper and found out that Glenn Purdy spend over 182 days in the US a few years ago. Therefore, he was banned for a few years from going back. He is able to go back now at any time. Good food for thought for Canadians contemplating staying longer than 182 days.
We also spoke with several other students who had attended Glenns past trainings and gone on trips to the US. We did hear that some of Glenns past associations and business partners (Ie. MMG, Chris, and a previous Florida realtor) were not to be trusted. Apparently a few of these earlier trips were disorganized. We found out that these people and companies are no longer part of Glenns current team - might be the reason for the "re-branding." His current team that we were involved with were John, Paul, Rocco, William and Damian. They were all open, honest, forthcoming and gave us direct access to the deals with no high pressure sales tactics either.
So, I can see where this report could have come from. I can tell you that the other people on our US trip to Florida were all very satisfied and bought several properties too. Our experience with Glenn and his current team was excellent. We all felt that it was high value and well worth the money.
So, as long as the other companies mentioned and previous people are not involved - we would recommend Glenn Purdy and his current team (John, Paul, Rocco, William and Damiem). Do your own research thanks. Calgary, AB.
