Her pageant was disorganized, and she crowned the wrong girl TWICE.
Then she completely forgot to crown in a entire age group, music was played for the wrong children in Themewear. The crowns for the Queens was the small tooth crowns that could fit in the palm of your hand.
The Judge was the same person who did registration the day before. When Tasha was confronted about these issues she became hostile. She called my child ugly and I am posting exactly what she said here these are not my words but hers. This is what she messaged me in facebook!!
"Tasha Land: LOL... you're so funny. My money is long babygirl... I'm sure you was able to tell from my pageant I put on... too bad your daughter will NEVEr be cute!!!You play games,.... I'm f*cking READY!!!! HOODRAT B*TCH, watch me!!!!"
"Tasha Land: Zoie got what she deserved- So lets say her music wasn't given to the first girl?- She still would have scored the same way- The routine was lackluster and mediocre- Make sure you better prepare both your girls next time at any pageant you go to."
My daughter is 6 months old, did she expect her to do cartwheels?

I am confused as to why comment # 20 (The rocket scientist) decided to address my comment. As I was being completely neutral about the whole thing. I don't like confrontation with people. It disgusts me and I really hope that the Director and Pageant mom mends fences w/o the help of other naysayers.
Anyway.
Comment # 18- lol, wow. I don't agree, but I will laugh because not all pageant moms are obese, but most of them are. I think they look at their children as being a younger more attractive version of them and they live vicariously through them. No harm in it... I guess.
"Or the pictures or him standing and shouting outside their ghetto
apartment in a dirty wife beater. "
How is this possible? How do you know where they live? Did you get a private detective to go to their home and spy on them? This is craziness all balled up. I am confused about this comment. I know for a fact that you did not go to their home yourself, as that would be considered foolhearted and dangerous. If anyone came to my house with some pageant nonsense I'd surely kill them on the spot in self defense... and walk away scott free the same night. People have the right to protect their home if someone is coming to harm them.
Steve- I don't agree with all your post... but you're funny as h**l.
Who would have ever thought that a pageant mom who child lost and a director would go through this bull? This is too much. For goodness sake! Stop this childhood behavior and everybody get over it, please. You are grown women with children. Start acting like it.
Again, I was at the pageant (really) I tried to ask my friend who I was with to come and read this nonsense and she said "hell no". To be honest I'm not sure why I even came on here. I guess as a business owner myself I'd hate to see someone bash my business w/o hearing a neutral side.
And this is the last you all will hear/read from me, as I do have things to do.
Btw... out of the 5 people who the Author named as angry parents... that's not too bad from the 25-26 girls who attended. And btw... Elise Q. was not there. I know because one of my girls compete with her DD all the time in State and national pageants, and I speak to her via fb. So in fact 4 angry parents out of 25 isn't bad at all.
As a matter of fact, I may have daughter compete at her Bham pageant... only because I know they are going to put their all into it to repair this damage that people created.
LMAO! Scientist? You claim to be a "forensic scientist?" LOL! In the professional world, a scientist is usually someone who has earned a PhD in a particular field. It's very hard to believe that someone with your displayed language skills has completed high school, let alone any college level courses.
You can actually do it at home but it won't stand up in court,
Few people have the needed skill sets to accomplish this. It requires HACKING into the Ripoff Report servers and then locating packet data (if stored), and so forth to just glean the IP address. This is ILLEGAL and is a FELONY in the U.S.
but depending on how serious the person is that said she was going to sue it wouldn't take much to pay a private investigator (i am available!!) and do a trace of the IP address,
LOL! Kindly name ONE private investigator that claims to do this! LMAO! I think it's a safe bet that YOU certainly do not possess the skills needed to even make a serious ATTEMPT to hack into the RipOff Report servers. Even if you or some other script kiddie managed to get pass the front end security you would have no idea where (if at all) the packet data, IP address are stored. I'm willing to bet that the hosting service provider would detect your intrusion and terminate your attempt before you could get close to the needed data. There are other aspects that dispel your claims but it's not necessary to get into them. You clearly cannot do what you claim.
Just for fun, why don't you name the business that you work for that provides these wonderful services. I'm sure there will be plenty of folks marching to your door step begging you to commit felonies so that they might catch a cheating spouse/significant other.

But where your idiocy really shines through is the rest of your post as a "private investigator". You can in no way trace the IP address of any poster here "from home".
Go ahead and try, Einstein. What is my IP address? Oh, let me guess: you don't want to take the time to do it, right? But you totally could if you wanted to.
And as I mentioned before, show me the law that says you cannot post a picture of a child that is in a public pageant on the Internet? Go ahead, I'll wait.
And if you think a lawyer would be able to win a case "easily," then call one up and get paid. And by "get paid," I mean "get laughed at".
I am not the woman who runs the pageant; I just can't stand idiots, and you are the queen of them.
Oh and speaking of competitions, if your daughter shares your command of the English language I can see why she is in these pageants, and not in a spelling bee.

you had some sound words, and most of your post is correct but as a foresnic scientist, its quite easy to prove (or at least what IP address) a post came from. You can actually do it at home but it won't stand up in court, but depending on how serious the person is that said she was going to sue it wouldn't take much to pay a private investigator (i am available!!) and do a trace of the IP address, which would ping to a physical address and computer which then in turn would point out the owner of said computer, so anything can be proven . And especially since rip off report doesn't remove post at all, people should read the legal disclaimer on this site before they post. It states that they will not be held responsible for any of the posts, but the person who posted the post can be held legally responsible for anything they write or post on their site. And if the one who posted didn't given written agreement to her (the person that posted) her daughter's pics saying "i give so and so permission to post my pics/my daughter's pics in a harassing, mean and degrading way," then she has a valid and legal arguement, as a pageant director she should have known better. Also, if there isn't a written photo release then she is pretty much screwed, if she said its on her website that doesn't count. She would have to prove that the pictures where sent into the website and also that it was posted on the website at the time the other person sent it in, its alot of legal issues here and a lawyer could win this case easily, probably because the company would settle out of court instead of brining more negative attention to their name. But who knows? Who really cares, I was just browsing and came across this site, personally I wouldn't attend any event that would post demeaning pictures of a child, but that's just me. Also that "steve" guy is a character just from reading his post I believe he either is the other woman or either related to her in some way. No grown man would put down a child, if he is really a grown man talking about a 13 year old child he should do a self evaluation and get help fast.
That's kind of creepy.
Oh one more thing, since the child in question is said to be 13, that is crimes against a minor a whole different aspect if the mom was to press charges, and not sue it would be a big hornet's nest for the pageant director if she is found quilty she will not be allowed near minors and that would mean no more pageants. I would try to make peace instead of trying to make things worse if I was the director, just because it would look good on my part and two as a director your supposed to keep a certain standard.

And I wasn't even thinking about you but now you wanted me to have you on my mind. You should of stepped to the moms that posted the other three reports about you. you wanted attention from me you got it.
You thought by trying to embarrass my daughter you would hurt me in turn you hurt yourself I received so many messages on both of my Facebook pages sympathizing with me and so many offers to real pageants you have made my girls famous and you have given yourself a bad name. Do you want the links to all the post that people started about you on Facebook? I didn't even see the post you wrote about my family because you got criticized so harshly your removed it before I had a chance. Well in the end you hurt yourself more than me.

I attended Glitter Girls Pageants 2-11-2012
AUTHOR: Pageant Mom - (United States of America)
SUBMITTED: Monday, March 12, 2012
I'd like to say, I was in attendance at glitter girls pageants. My daughter did not compete as she was sick, but i was there to support a dear friend who had a daughter competing.
My opinion: and if you all think I'm going to be part of this crazy war, you're WRONG!!!
I'm only going to give my opinion.
Was it a bad pageant? Absolutely not.
Was it the best pageant in the world? Absolutely not
were they organized? for the most part yes... and there were a few hiccups, but my daughters have been in the best pageants across the country and they even had hiccups.
Did the director seem rude and unapproachable? no, but she did seem busy, which is understandable. a pageant is a non stop high action event. Who was actually expecting her to sit and chat with them? My girls go to pageants all the time and the director will say hello and goodbye, but for them to sit and talk with people is a no no... simply because a pageant mom will automatically assume that they are favoring this person's child over theirs. so it is not in good taste for a director to do anything other than direct and smile at their pageant.
As far as the set up... it was decent in my opinion. i have been to all sorts of pageants and I know what is decent to what is crappy. If the director takes the time to book an actual hotel meeting space than that says a lot. If they take the time to have a DJ, Emcee, videographer, and photographer and lighting I think that too says a lot.
Crowning of the wrong kids? i don't recall that at all... not to say it did not happen but I really don't recall. In my opinion the girls got what they deserved! The Grand Supreme Winners deserved their titles. They were great girls I really think the judging was fair! My friend daughter got some side awards and something else, but she deserved what she got. You can't fight city hall.
I'm not here in defense of any side. I just want to give my stance on what I actually see go down at the pageant.
People are so quick to bring down people because they are scared!!! This report can not be erased and it is a shame that grown adults have come to childish behaviors. I truly hate it.
i blame the person who started this... not sure who and I'm not pointing fingers, but people get what they deserve when they try to bring down a company. Companies have every right to defend themselves.
As far as suing, I don't think so, You will find it mighty hard for a lawyer to take a case about a disgruntled parent. And the first thing the lawyer will ask is... How do you know the director of this pageant wrote all this? And then they will take many things into consideration prior to determining if you have a case. I think the most the will say is... "don't attend her pageant anymore"
I really do not like trouble that people cause for one another.
But you guys made your bed, now you must lie in it.
If I have to say whether I'd personally attend a future Glitter Girls Pageant: YES w/o a doubt.
I been to much worst pageants and they don't get this type of flack. to me this seems more like personal thing.
Maybe these women knew each other????
Anyway, this is my take and whoever don't like it... oh well.
BTW... has anyone actually tried contacting the real winners/contestants of the pageant to see if they shared the same sentiments?
It would be terrible for this lady to have a vendetta against her and she is the only one feeling like she was wronged. Perhaps going on facebook or other social mediums to see if you can communicate directly with the director and contestants.

Tasha - I was at your pageant, and yes it was the worst pageant I have ever been to. Nothing went right and you know it. But it taks a real women to admit she made mistakes. You and your judeges were very rude and it didnt matter who tried to talk to them!!! What real director would go so low to call out a 6th month old and a 13 year old??? In your business all you deal with is kids and parents that are going to get upset sometimes and you as a "professional" should know how to deal with it. YOu may not want to make everyone happy but to kepp people coming back you have to do what you have to do!! Seems to me is that you are too ashamed to tell everyone as a women, director and I dont know if your a mother, that you made mistakes. I was highly upset that we had to wait over 2 hours to crown and I dont care what the time schedule was, if the pageant ended early than you should have did what you had to do to get those girls crowned. Now yes my daughter won something and I was grateful, but as a mother and adult I have to say this is just wrong! I mean those kids did nothing to you, thos kids cannot sign themselves up and do everything on thier own, so why attack them? if you and the mother are having something that is fine, you dont bring someone kids into this!!! I am guessing you dont have kids. You need to find it in your heart to make things right or you will just get a bad name and I am sure you love what you do, but you have to learn from your mistakes and make yourself a better person.
Desi - I am with you 100%, because I dont know what I would do if someone posted something like that about my daughter, it almost hurts me! She is only 13 years old and she doesn't deserve that!!! If she doesn't take it down, I would go through with everything you are saying. After this I will never attend another one of your pageants and I will let all my pageant friend know, I have been doing this for about 8 years, so I have a alot. People who cant admit their wrong and try to down someone becuase they dont want to look bad should get whats coming to them!!!

And you can sue for the posing of pictures of MINORS, (they are protected different under U.S. Law) the first step is that you have to give the poster appropriate time to remove the pictures, which I will she has until tomorrow.
And 2 it has to be habeas corpus "body of the crime". Hello its posted on a public website and then she titled it Stripper which is defamation-is the communication of a statement that makes a claim, expressly stated or implied to be factual, that may give an individual, business, product, group, government, or nation a negative image.
She has given my daughter a negative image of a stripper. Ahh legal battles can be so exciting, and since she claims to have so much money she should probably start preparing her lawyer now or better yet should have asked her lawyer for advice before she posted that slander.
And yes my daughter that she called ugly is 6 months. My other daughter is 13, so if it makes you feel good to talk about children Steve, you should probably go talk to a doctor about your self esteem issues. Didn't your mother raise you not to call others names? But hey they called Jesus names as well, so you Steve don't matter and you know that. That is why your posting on a rip off report in the first place to make it seem that your life has some meaning to it. But in reality it doesn't that is why your here posting in the first place and not enjoying your wife and kids, which your probably don't have any. Because as I type my man is staring at me wondering why in the world do I entertain you, when I usually won't respond to any of this garbage but since someone took the liberity to First post as me, then post pics of me, I decided the real me should have some input on this whole situation. Hey Steve do you want me to come back here after we get a court date and post it maybe you will like to come sit in the courtroom, I mean since you won't have anything better to do anyway.

The Truth about Glitter Girls Pageants
AUTHOR: Glitter Girls - (United States of America)
SUBMITTED: Sunday, March 11, 2012
First off, I'd like to say thank you for bringing this up. Secondly...Ahhh, the exciting world of Glitz Pageantry.... There will always be unhappy parents and they are going to be the ones that try to bash a system. It is simply because their child was unprepared and the competition was too tough for them. Nonetheless, I totally understand your wanting to know what you're getting child involved in before hand. This response is regarding our February 11th pageant entitled "A Valentines day Extravaganza where the winner and pictures of the Outstanding event can be seen by clicking the picture below...
to see proof of everything I have stated and will state please click here
The Grand And Mini crowns were the only ones I advertised and is what the winners received... so I'm not sure what this person's issue is about that! Every body who has ever been to a pageant knows that the Queens' Crowns are going to be much smaller than Grand Supreme and Mini Supremes' crowns... so I'm not sure what they were expecting!
We had an Emcee and a Dj and a Videographer and Photographer... Our emcee was the Talented Mr. who admitted that this was his first time hosting a pageant, but during his interview he was so lovable and fun that we totally stand by booking him. The other parents were very thrilled with him and many of them approached him afterwards to tell him what a great job he did. Our DJ was Mr. James "Stream" Adams, who is a different person, who also did a fairly decent job. So, I'm not so sure what she is referring to when she said our Emcee was a DJ. Possibly he moonlights as a DJ in the clubs she frequents, but he was at our Pageant in an official Emcee capacity. We have no idea what he does when he is not working for us. (He never once touched ANY of our music equipment other than his microphone) My photographer was Also a different person. This was the most outrageous claim simply because of the fact that it is HUMANLY IMPOSSIBLE to do these 4 jobs at once. So now that this has been addressed and proven false I will go on to her next claim.
As far as my Emcee talking through the OOC... That is absolutely untrue. During Beauty... he read their emcee sheet and allowed them to do their walk. During the 90 sec OOC, they had their own music and routine so their was nothing for him to even say other than; introduce them when they came on stage, try to encourage Desi Redd's daughter to keep going after she collapse to the floor on a failed somersault attempt and thank them as they were exiting the stage.
Inappropriate comments? LOL... I hate to not take that seriously and laugh, but it truly is a joke. There was nothing said inappropriately and that claim is so outrageous I won't even go into it further. He did what he was supposed to do and he did an AWESOME job (he'll be back in Birmingham) in fact so many most parents came to him and told him how awesome and fun he made the pageant.
I know exactly who is up to this. She has been exposed on the first page of this site. She had a complaint because her 2 children was not prepared AT ALL to compete in a Glitz pageant. There was some stiff competition and I guess it was what intimidated them and made them want to try and bash my system and make it seem like the system was flawed.
At the end, I had parents come to me and thank me for an awesome pageant and I had some that even came to me and said " Oh gosh their are complainees at every pageant, you did a graceful job of keeping the sour apple out of the bunch! We watched you, and have even learned a thing or 2 about how to deal with conflict wherever it may arise "
Either way, at the biggest and best pageants there will always be unhappy parents and people who are trying to be a saboteur, but life goes on. (I could spend $50,000 on my next pageant and give everyone who participates a solid platinum crown for their $100 sign up fee, and you know what...? There WILL STILL BE a disgruntled little womanthere who will not be satisfied) I've realized many years ago that I can't please everyone. But those people surley won't stop me from being positive about a show that I KNOW I did a great job of directing!
She says I am unapproachable because I did not want to lollygag and shoot the breeze with her while I have my husband's and my business/investment in full swing. This lady was not happy that I stood by my PRINCIPALS and convictions and DID NOT DISCUSS the JUDGE'S DECISIONS on why her daughter lost because it was and still is a CONFLICT of INTEREST!
At the end of the day, I'm extremely happy with the event and am sooo looking forward to our Birmingham Pageant, named Pageant-Wars. Only you can decide if you want to try our system. I cannot force you or anyone else to sign up to our system. I cannot make angry failed pageant directors come back. However, what I will do is continue to put on the very best pageants achievable. We are always learning and improving at our company. We are always taking risk to turn up the ante and we are willing to learn from our mistakes. Could some of the things at the Valentines Day show went better? Sure, but it was still an AWESOME EVENT and I stand by it 100%! The parents who have signed up for our next pageant do not agree with your issues
BTW... My Crowns are being Customized right now and the pics will be posted by the beginning of April just to show off what is up for grabs in Birmingham!
We'd love to have your daughter join us, but again its up to you! I do not believe in sneakily trapping anyone to join us. To me, the amount of happy parents and contestants we have is a lot more rewarding than just luring in some contestants for our fee, if they may be unhappy. I cannot (for the life of me) understand why the upset pageant momcalled us a scam. She payed to participate in a pageant, then she participated in a pageant! (and a darn good one at that.) There WAS and IS no scam. I am also sure that sensible people already realize this which is why we are filling up so quickly for our next pageant. We are almost out of spaces. She is now making up random Facebook and and email names to try to bash our system. Ask Liz Burns Woodall on facebook about the hard time this woman gave her on her page.
Again, thanks for taking the time out to get my side of this story.
If you decide to join us, GREAT!... if not, we'll see you guys at another time. Glitter Girls LLC is my passion and it is here for the long haul! So buckle up and enjoy this ride. We will keep putting on fabulous pageants for as long as our Girls and Fans would like us too!!!
Thanks
Tasha
