Global Cash Card charges $0.50 everytime you swipe your card. If you have $500.00 on your card there systems are "supposedly" down a lot and your card will be denied. When denied you are charged $0.80 for their systems being down and $0.50 for swiping the card. So all together your charged $1.30. They say you get it back but the thing is that you never see it. We went through them for 4 months and when we seen how much money they were making off of us and their systems being down, we decided that we are going to do direct deposit instead. If we spent a dollar on a ice cream for our child they charged us the $0.50 convenience fee, on that one transaction they made 50% of what we spent. I don't know how many times I bought a single soda at the gas station spending $1.79 and they took their $0.50 which is about 40% of what I spent. They made more money from my husbands check than what we actually got after all the fees. I say avoid the scam and get a savings account instead. If you need a credit card get a walmart one it is a lot cheaper.
