I was trying to order off of the web site WORX Yard tools ( they are not a rip off) I called them and I finally got that order ) and order 2 spools of trim line, I already have the weed eater they offer, and somehow Total Trimmer Plus got my credit card and phished into my computer. I immediately called Total Timmer Plus to cancel this order since I didn't order their product and got no answer since it was on a Sunday Morning, I waited until the following day and when I reached a girl named Natasha she said they did not have an order for me and could not cancel. I also talked to a Monique at this same company 2/16/09 and she told me the same thing. every time I asked to talk to a manager or a representative of this company they said there was no one available.

I filed a police report with my local Police Department Case # and then went to my bank and they reported it to the Fraud division of the Bank, and changed my number, they debited my account on 2/16/09 . $ 136.46 the same day I talked to all the people in customer service and they told me I had no order.

I have had Brenda with my bank ( fraud Division )on the line third party and she heard them tell me I would get my money back, I then got a package and refused it, and sent it back with a signature.And I also Have confirmation of package returned.

When I called back on the 03/06/09 @ 12.:02 pm Central time - I talked to a Kim who told me that I was issued a full refund within 7-10 days with the third party ( my Bank ) on the phone. I have yet to receive a refund and they will not answer my calls and when I do call they tell me that it will be 24- 48 hours to receive a call back.

I have since filed a Report with the Federal Trade Commission and the BBB in the Global Ideas Direct , LLC Area , Milford , CT ,With the complaint Manager Patricia D Strum / Complaint Department .

Total Trimmer is still trying to say they have refunded half of my money but my bank has clearly told them that is not the case, plus they are to charge shipping when I didn't order the product at all .

I just want my money back since this is an obvious scam and fraudulent company it's a small amount of money but I am single and have worked sometimes two and three jobs just to make ends meet, so to me every little bit counts

I inadvertently ran across your 2009 complaint on ripoffreport.com when doing a search on Global Ideas Direct, LLC.  My name is Scott Reid, and I am Chief Executive Officer of Global Ideas Direct. 
 
I will start off by apologizing for this response being so delayed.  Our company was completely unaware of your unfortunate situation until now as we were never informed by our outsourcing company that you had contacted them in this regard.  Please know that we are a highly regarded company committed to impacting our customers in only a positive manner. 

Although I cannot provide an exact explanation as to why you were victimized in this way, I can speculate.  For a one week period in 2009, Global Ideas Direct conducted testing using an affiliate marketing services company.  After reviewing the results from the week long testing period, we determined that using this company was not beneficial to Global Ideas Direct and terminated our relationship with them.  I believe that your negative experience with Global Ideas Direct is directly related to our brief relationship with this marketing services company.  I am hoping that this issue was resolved to your complete satisfaction and that you received 100% of your money back.  If not, please contact me directly at scott.reid@globalideas.tv, and I will personally guarantee a total refund of all money owed to you.
