I joined the Global Information Network when it was new in August 2009. I believed in them and all they had to offer. I never attended the live events as it was not realistic for my lifestyle, but I enjoyed the information they offered online.
I hoped that eventually the information would help me to grow as a person and also become wealthy. Then I could afford to upgrade to higher levels, which cost a lot, and go to live events, which also costs a lot to travel to.
Recently I regretfully decided to quit my membership to save money as well as I wasn't getting much out of it lately. Maybe I would benefit more if I could afford to upgrade my membership or travel to the live events.
Anyway, when I cancelled my membership, I got an e-mail audio message recorded by Kevin Trudeau. In the message he high-pressures you to rejoin. He says he will give you an offer that will be hard to turn down. One of the things he offered was that I would be upgraded to Level 2 for free when it normally would cost $1500. I very much want that.
So I rejoined and they refuse to upgrade me. They act like they know nothing about this audio message and simply say I am not eligible for this offer. As far as I am concerned, Kevin lied!

I would like to say that GIN gives awesome information on upper levels.
1)From level 1-4 the information is pretty much the same, and is mostly repetition
2) MLM's don't work, because it relies too much on forces (people), who's decisions are outside of your radar screen
3) I am not a GIN member because I am a skeptic

Just this past week, I received a Facebook buddy request from a person that I had removed, because he was a recruiter for this con organization. His name is Andrew Roeber. He always made snide comments on my Facebook wall about my love for roller coasters, and the things that I do regarding them. He always said for what I put into those, I could be spending it on GIN. Well, the arrogant b***ard doesn't realize, that I would rather spend my money on things that I can get something out of, instead of something that I may as well put the money in the toilet and flush it! I Unfriended him a long time ago, and recently he asked to be my friend again. I waited a few days before I decided to give him a second chance. So, I decided to go ahead and do that, and said, if he says anything snide about my lifestyle and that I should join GIN, he's done. Well, as soon as I accepted his friend status on Facebook, the first thing out of his mouth was, "For what you spend money on your coaster habit, you could've joined GIN", and I was royally pissed about this! How dare someone ask to be a Facebook friend and begin with something arrogant like that??? That tells me what kind of organization GIN is. Some kind of neo-nazi cult apparently! Spending thousands of bucks on garbage like what Kevin Trudeau puts out does not make good financial sense. Andrew Roeber proceeded to tell me that he only surrounds himself with winners. Well, sounds like thats a buzz word for only surrounding himself with CON MEN! People who rip others off for financial gain are NOT winners in my book. I am winner, because I don't do those things. I am winner in my own life, and I don't need people who bash my passions to be in business with. GIN is a crooked organization. If you get approached by an Andrew Roeber from Illinois, RUN LIKE H**L! You'll be glad you did! k Thanks!

To the bitter and angry "Platinum Affiliate" GIN member. Why are you still in GIN then? It so, so obviously isn't for you, yet you still are a member? I know a few wonderful Platinums who are having a completely different experience than you ,and love, love, love being a part of this amazing club.
To anyone reading this who is considering joining GIN--it is a legit club. As with anything, there will always be a few disgruntled people who feel the world owes them, and will complain and cry when they are disappointed. But--for the majority of people who have joined and made use of the knowledge and training available to members--GIN is a profoundly "worth every penny" experience.
I've seen this same bitter guy posting all over his facebook too, trying in vain to convince people GIN is a scam, but he is widely ignored and seen for what he is--someone who expected something unrealistic and is crying because his greed wasn't fed fast enough. I always hear Kevin speak about the GIN affiliate program in very realistic terms--2-5 years to build it, consider the worst case scenario, etc etc.
Bottom line, GIN is a real club with real and valuable information, connections and opportunity. GIN is not a get rich quick scheme or something that is trying to rip you off. You will get out of it, exactly what you put in to it. Follow you heart and don't let ANYONE steal your dream.

I am a member of gin. There for, I am an employee. Because the members are what makes gin. I have insider info, because I am also a platinum affiliate and kevin gives platinums insider info about gin.
Gin IS a scam. All they want is our money. Every update call, every audio, all they try and do is get u to spend more money. Gin is just one big huge sales picth. That's why they push major events so much. That's where they can get complete mind control over u and get u to spend the big bucks.
I believe in the law of attraction as well. But gin is just trying to make a profit from it. there are plenty of other sources that teach you about the law of attraction for free or a lot less than what gin charges. I'm sorry to see u can't see past all their lies and BS.

To the "author:" there is nothing "refreshing" about listening to a loser bellyache. Your "bad experience" was that a STAFF MEMBER (who goes to the bathroom just like you do) committed a HUMAN ERROR by not recognising that you were eligible for that rejoin promo. I told you many times that it was NOT a scam or "misleading" because I was offered the same promo and got it with no problem! again, I don't know how you call Kevin Trudeau a scam artist because a staff member committed an error. Kevin Trudeau only sent out a recorded message...that's it.
To the person posting as "not gullible," let me say again: I don't care what you think you were promised, YOUR COMMISSION CHECK WILL NEVER BE MORE THAN THE DUES COLLECTED BY YOUR DOWNLINE!!! Also, you didn't "quit" GIN, you were kicked out of GIN for making insulting remarks about GIN on Facebook! ...something you are still doing to this day, but you get corrected each time by other members who do see tremendous value in their membership.

To the person who keeps defending gin, I understand where your comming from. You have invested 2 years of your life into gin. Some of the training they have is very good, Its hard to believe that gin has lied to you and scammed you.
But dont you see thats how they brain wash you? They give you some truthful good information in order to gain your trust. Then they hypnotise you into giving them all your money. They are masters of their trade. Very good con artists. Problay the best around.
If you are platinum like you say, just listen to the 3rd from last platinum audio. Kevin clearly states that the bonus would be hundreds of thousands a year. Also take a look at the march 2011 newsletter. It states that the bonus is a once in a lifetime opportunity to financial freedom. A winning lottery tickey they claim.
$200 a month is not financial freedom! And 20% of the platinums dropped out just in the month of January alone, so Febuary's bonus should have been more not less!! More than half of the platinums have already dropped out.
That just goes to show how weak the gin system is. Most people with a common sense brain can see past all gin's lies and fraud. Thats why every truly successful person I talked to about gin, never got in. You have to wake up and see behind all of gin's lies. Gin is for sure going to go under and your going to go off the cliff with them if you choose to stay in and keep investing your money in the affiliate program.

EVERY MLM? Really? Because the health MLM I've been in for a decade pays continuously each month on all my downline additions, whether I add new members or not!

Also, I don't see how Kevin Trudeau is not involved if it is The organization of GIN we're talking about. He is all over the place with this organization. The audio they sent me by mistake was even a recording of him with his picture. How is he not involved? I know he personally didn't send it, but I'm sure he endorses and backs up whatever is being done in this organization.

To Mr. "Not Gullible:" I'm not sure how long ago you quit, but there was a weekly update call some weeks ago where Kevin Trudeau addressed each and every issue you brought up here. He said in essence that sometimes things don't go as planned, that plans have to change from time to time, promises and commitments have to be reevaluated at times, and that these are all characteristics of an organization in it's infancy. He has said time and again that there WILL be problems, minor headaches, things that fall through the cracks and things that have to be sorted out. He also mentioned that alot of people will lose their patience and quit, because they just don't see the potential in the organization. You yourself said it has the potential to be great, so why didn't you show some character and hang on? I joined in March 2010, when there was almost nothing on the website, and in this short time I have been REALLY impressed with the level of development I have witnessed in GIN. Is "everything" going according to the plans? NO! Do they admit this? Absolutely!
And to clarify one point about the affiliate program and the qualifiers (for the sake of other readers): EVERY Multi-Level Marketing company has some qualifier that determines whether or not you'll get paid. In the last MLM I was a part of, the qualifier was that your pay leg spend a minimum of $500 in revenue. The fact that you have to sponsor a new member each month to get paid the commission, or at least be Platinum level makes perfect sense in precedent.
And lastly, I am curious to know what membership level you were. I don't know of any instances of level 4 or 5 members quitting. The Success Mastery Course is off the charts at those levels!!!

I have been in the system for over two years. Your implication that I haven't worked hard to earn my money is bullshit. I have seen this company make promises that they have not fulfilled continuously. The sad truth is, people are waking up and becoming pissed off. Sad because it has the potential to be a great organisation. In many respects it already is a great organisation, but the affiliate program is complete rubbish.
Please, continue to misguide people with your one-sided irrational beliefs about what this company really is.

Checks change of course, but you don't get paid unless you add a new member each month! That's where they have us over a barrel. Plus, the platinum checks are going DOWN not UP as they should be with platinums dropping out each month!

After the last reply from the brainwashed pawn calling me a loser, it's refreshing to hear from someone who has seen the light like me. I especially appreciate the fact that you went further in the organization and still felt the way I do about GIN. Additionally, you sound like a level-headed person at that.

Anyway, I finally listened to my intuition. I'm so glad I did. I didn't realize there were so many better programs out there for way less money that actually help people. I'm not a loser for following my intuition and finding and using what really truly meets my needs. After all, there are many paths to the same destination, but some paths like GIN are a dead-end.

Look, I don't like "everything" about GIN. I don't like Marshal Sylver. I don't like the Hot Leads program - I think it's a dead animal and they're reluctant to admit it. I don't like that most seminars are a ten-hour drive or more away from me. I don't like some of my fellow members. So what? Do I whine and complain about it? Or do I just look for the gold? Late commissions are a known issue that they have acknowledged and are in the process of improving. The Platinum payout projections are based on potentialities, and I highly suspect Chris probably worded it to reflect that, and that you're just misunderstanding. It's kind of like the people who claim GIN is a scam because on the Intro CD it tells people to go to a website to get YWIYC for a free copy, only to find the offer isn't valid any longer. Well, the dufus who handed out the CD obviously didnt hear that it directs the listener back to the one who gave them the CD for their free copy, not a website. See, that's the problem...people don't listen. Not only do they not listen, they act upon information they didn't understand in the first place. And lastly I'd like to hear about some of the alleged fraudulent things GIN is involved in. And please don't give the excuse that you don't have space enough to write them or that no one will listen.

Hard truth, I think you are the one who does not know whats really going on in gin. First off, gin only wants our money. They are all a bunch of money hungry conman. More than half of gin is in Kevin's personal downline. He is constantly flashing his affiliate code on his radio show. They are definitly in this thing to make money, not to help the world raise their vibration!
Gin never delivers on what they say they will do. They have been late paying commisions about 25% of the time. The commissions checks are always messed up and the wrong amounts for alot of members. All the platinums were promised thousands of dollars a year and kevin said they would all be overnight millionares. At platinum club in family reunion of last year, kevin says that the bonus will be hundreds of thousands a year. Chris Magarahan also said on the cruise last year that each platinum would be getting 50kk a month. He also said it again at a how to go platinum in 90 day seminar in March. But this time it was 60k a month!
I know that there were less platinums in the beggining of the month when those statements were made so with more platinums, the amount will drop. But those statements were based on lies. With the current growth of gin there would have to be just half of a platinum for the bonus to be that much in January of last year. And there were 19 platinums when Chris first made that statement!
Everyone was under the impression that the bonus would be thousands a month. They knew excatly what they were doing and they were flat out lieing to us and misleading us. The febuary's bonus check was less that January's and that is with 20% less platinums! It seems to me that gin is on the decline.
There are so many lies and fraud things that gin is apart of, but I dont want to make this post a huge long post that nobody will read. I welcome dispute because I know the facts and the facts dont lie. Gin is a fraud company and they will soon go under Just like nutrition for life. Weather kevin was the owner of that mlm doesnt really matter. He was the spokesman for that organization and it went bankrupt in 2003. Thats all that matters. It started out just like gin is starting out with all the lies and broken promises.

Alright Bud, first I am a member...not a Support rep, so I've simply done my due diligence, which you appear not to have done. Second, you speak of how the GIN council invests their own money, and that is your reason for blaming GIN for not having a personal concierge, so to speak, for every member? If you claim to own a business, you should know full well that the initial capital for start-up costs is out of pocket until the organization can sustain itself. And besides, the don't HAVE TO do it, because they aren't personally profiting from it. Third, its very telling that you didn't refute anything i said in my last post...you just made an excuse, blaming the GIN council for not investing even more of their money in people like you. I don't know where you get off calling me a Kool-aid drinker for not arriving at the same conclusions as you. And who are you that I or any future reader should listen to you and your bellyaching about GIN not giving you thousands and thousands of dollars just because you invest $150 a month? NO ONE is going to hand you money! NO ONE is going to make you rich. You cannot expect a huge return on la little productivity...in other words, the commissions you were paid could not have been more than the sum of the dues collected by your downline. It is simple economics. You are the archetype of the person KT talks about when he speaks of quitters with no vision. You would have called the Super Bowl a "scam" when it was in its infancy. You are the type who would abandon a project just because it looks messy in the beginning. You're a SNIOP, a quitter, you have no character (ability to stick with decisions). Do you have what I want? Do you know of a better path to get what I want that you have personally gone down? After all, who do you listen to? You are a blind sheep leading other blind sheep to the stagnant water of mysticism that will entrap you and them in poverty forever.

FYI - I have never missed an audio since joining, not one! Each (supposedly) GIN council member has (supposedly) invested millions of dollars of their own money, into GIN for its success. This was made clear in early audios, which you obviously failed to listen to.
Instead of attacking those of us with concerns, maybe you could try and be a bit more intelligent and provide answers, instead of being a typical koolaid drinker of GIN's lies!
It's pretty obvious you don't care about the concerns of members so please be quiet!

Do you know what I find funny about this? You have absolutely NO idea of the inner workings of GIN, yet you bash it! First, it is not a "multi-billion" dollar company. You would have known that had you listened to the update calls, which you obviously do not. The operations of the organization are sustained by the membership dues, and upgrades which amount to somewhere in the low millions each month - right now just enough to cover salaries, hotel booking for traveling member service reps, event planning, etc. the reason for the push to upgrade is because the membership dues and upgrades are needed to expand the organization, and expand the member benefits. The value of the cruise factors in not just the tickets, room & board, etc. but also the cost of the speakers...Peter Ragnar would have charged $800 for that seminar were this a non-GIN event. Ron Ball's costs are high as well. Also, you were not "promised" thousands of dollars for the platinum bonus...it was made clear that there were no guarantees on the payout amounts, and it was based on several variables. KT clearly said that "2% of the dues COLLECTED will be distributed among the platinums." THAT was the promise...there was no dollar amount involved. And you don't seem to understand when he uses the word "potentially" it means "potentially." if the check is less than the prior month, it means that less members paid their dues that month. This is pretty elementary stuff, sir. Also, if you didn't get your order, first don't blame GIN - the tools sales and distribution are handled by a private outside company. They may not have gotten your order or maybe your card was declined, or maybe it is held up in customs because you haven't claimed it. Did you even call to ask? Also, KT did not run Nutrition for life...he ran the Trudeau Marketing group, which was an organization within an organization. Nutrition for life sank independently of anything KT did or did not do. As for the "concerns" of the members, the club is still growing and taking in more members than it loses. So you and your little gossip group are quite wrong in the things you say. Lastly...I am willing to bet that you are/were not a high level member, and that you don't/didn't read books, listen to audios and give recognition every day, or attend as many events as possible, which is why you aren't successful. Another reason you aren't successful, is because you are blaming GIN for your failures (mysticism), so yes unfortunately it IS your thinking. Have a nice life.

Miffed with GIN's lies!

I'm in agreement with the original poster - GIN is full of lies!
I was on the January cruise and while I had a great time, I was NOT impressed with anything KT, Chris McGarahan or the new Platinums, said. It was all too obvious they wanted us to spend spend spend, and the Platinums were scripted!
I enjoyed Ron Ball, Peter Ragnar and Dr.C though.
But, the cruise was NOT a $5,000 value, you only have to look at the cruise line website to see it was much less than $900 each!
There is nothing in the Level 1 training that you cannot get free elsewhere - I had the entire book list long before joining GIN!
So why did I join? Because of the promises of GIN that I would make money, a lot of money. Well, almost 2 years later, almost $6,000 spent on goods, seminars, training and traveling, I haven't made a damn thing oth than good friends.
There is a growing concern among members that GIN is failing to deliver on its promises. Three months after the cruise and I still haven't received my order?! That's just not acceptable! How does GIN expect us to build a business when they can't deliver on time?
The trouble with some members who defend GIN is, that they are quick to call anyone who wants to quit a loser, put them down, belittle them, etc. I'm a businessman, a very successful one at that. I joined GIN with the dream to expand in my current business dealings. Nothing changed and no, it wasn't my thinking, etc...
GIN needs to be able to accept questions and concerns from. Embers and respond to them in a timely manner. So far, they are not. A multi-billion dollar company that needs to invest in an office with extended staff. There is no excuse.
And as for the Platinum checks...what a joke! We were promised thousands in monthly residual income - checks in February were less than January!!
And I can no longer justify $150 a month dues - for what? The information is definitely not worth that much and the weekly audios at all levels a joke! As is only telling Lvl three's and above about 2012. Here's a clue about what you'll learn: KT mentioned investing and profits - and guess where you'll be putting your money? Yep, in KT's pockets!
GIN is not for everyone and I commend anyone who at least gave it a go. Not put them down for quitting! Losers call others losers, simple as that!
Save your money and invest it elsewhere or keep it in the bank, because GIN is a sinking ship, just as Nutrition for Life was before it collapsed under KT's leadership. Talking of which, has anyone seen the GIN Council? I've been in since 2010 and not seen a single one!

You are certainly right in saying that GIN is not for everyone. It is not for losers, and it is not for people who are squeamish about spending money. Yes, I have invested money to be a member and upgrade, etc, but I have recovered that money ten times over from playing Baccarat using the training GIN provided! Not to mention free cruises, and other opportunities. Ten members just recently got brand new BMW's just for attending the Bahamas family reunion event. The Affiliate program is absolutely exploding right now, with new members joining left and right, and existing members making HUGE money in commissions. With all of the future perks coming, joining GIN is one of the best things success minded people could ever do. It's fantastic and getting better! Whatever programs you're in now will only sustain your poverty mentality - this I guarantee. And I mean no offense, really. But there is no Better way of saying it when you think you're paying "alot" of money to be in GIN when all of the benefits are considered. But some people just aren't qualified, and are repelled by the high vibrations put out from the club.

I did not give up easily. I e-mailed GIN about the issue several times and they denied it. They said that they mistakenly sent me that offer. It was only meant for people who recently got cancelled because of financial issues or people who had been cancelled for at least two months. Neither was the case for me. I chose to quit. But, when I " mistakenly" received that offer to upgrade to level 2 for free, I wanted to reinstate my membership. They said they would be glad to reinstate me at level 1 or at level 2 for $1500 which I couldn't afford. So I decided to just no longer be in GIN. I still think I made the right decision. After all, it's not for everyone. It's been over A year now. I have found other programs for much less money that are benefiting my life so much more.

Dude, you really did not do your due diligence. You should have pursued that to the very end. My membership was actually cancelled for a couple of days because I couldn't get my bank to honor the credit card transaction for a few months. I was offered the same promo as you, and I got the level 2 information just fine!!!!!! If you are not a member now, buddy, let me say you are missing out!! GIN just did a video Baccarat seminar, in which you will NEVER lose at Baccarat! I win hundreds every time I go to the casino! There is a poker seminar coming out soon as well. In January I just came back from an awesome free cruise, that was mind blowing. The training at the higher levels is off the charts! A crap load of new info was just added to the site, and more is coming. Level 3 members are getting the real data on 2012 in a private seminar coming soon. Dude, you are missing out big time. So, no, Kevin did not lie...he understated! I feel sorry for those of you who didn't have the vision to stay in
