Letter stated their network system shows me as beneficiary of an unclaimed settlement in amount of $80,000. The check enclosed was for $2,277.69..however, before the check can be cashed, I was instructed to call their number, and speak with Mary Adams, the clearing commissioner, and I must pay a processing fee before my funds are released.
It seems more than a couple of other people have reported this same scam on this website.
