I listened to the advertisment at incomeathome.com and it indicated to get started was $9.95 for information and that in the trial period, if returned you would not be billed the additonal $39.95. If you were billed $39.95 it would be refunded within the 90 day trial period.  Immediately after reviewing the DVD testimonies, I was not sold and knew I would not be participating.  The metor named Laura Fortin (207) 433-7912 contacted me and further explained the company. By the end of the call she told me it would be and estimated $299 to get started.  When I work for a company they pay me, I do not pay them so this was an immediate red flag. If this is a proven system then why can't I get paid first then pay the company a fee?  I told her that was unexpected and she said she could break up the payments and would call me back. I still was not interested and call the customer service number to return the DVD and make sure I was not billed $39.95 (1-888-420-4850). No matter what time I called I kept getting a recording saying they are assisting other customers.  I left voicemail messages and did not receive a call or email as the voicemail indicated.  I calle the number on the fed -ex (602) 943-8709 an also get voicemai. This is a huge red flag for me and  I just hope no one else get's tangled into this Global Pro nightmare.  I am now on my second week of telephone calls with no communication so I am bracing myself for the $39.95 charge so that I can dispute immediately because I am not intersted an no one from Global Pro System will call me back.  Avoid this headache

Confused

AUTHOR: jzmclain - ()

I payed $5.99 to do the package online and tomorrow I have my 30 minute mentor call. What I am confused about is if it's a vemma brand partner, why did we have to pay money to see any of that info when you can go to vemma website and pay nothing to see info? I guess that is confusing to me especially if you want to be a brand partner it costs nothing except if you want to put out the $400 for the business pack. It's all laid out on their website. The info pack didn't give me any special knowledge or really tell me anything.

Global Pro Systems

AUTHOR: Jeannie - (U.S.A.)

I am writing about the Global Pro System.  I called the BBB and they said this is a legit business.  Do people think that companies can send out products are information for free?  Sometimes you have to invest.  This is so they can weed out the tire kickers.  I said I was thinking about it.  Thinking and doing are two different things.

Global Pro System - What it is and isn't..

AUTHOR: mcloudtek - (United States of America)

I was amazed by the following comment made in referring the the Global Pro System...

"When I work for a company they pay me, I do not pay them so this was an immediate red flag. If this is a proven system then why can't I get paid first then pay the company a fee?"

First of all, the Global Pro System is a marketing system which markets the Vemma nutrition products line. You, as a "Brand Partner", do not work for Vemma or Global Pro Systems as an employee.

Because the Global Pro System is simply a marketing system used by independent distributors, there will be "Brand Partners" who are new to the business as well as veteran network marketers who know the ropes. There is always a possibility of "foul-up" with any system.

The original report stated that he was asked to pay $9.95 for the information pack. That is correct. But he also stated that it would be refunded within a 90 day period. That is NOT correct. The viewer has 14 days to view the material.

The $9.95 is the FedEx shipping fee. The GPS distributor does not keep any of that. Here is the info straight from the website...

"You will be billed a one-time charge of $9.95 USD for delivery at the time of shipping. The 14 day free viewing period will begin on the shipping date and will end 14 days later. If you decide to return the Home Business Training Package, it must be in its original condition and postmarked no later than 14 days after the original date of shipping.

The original date of shipping will be noted on your package when you receive it. Due to the cost of production of these valuable materials, if the package is not returned within these guidelines you are agreeing to being billed a one-time charge of $39.95 USD. Thanks once again and we look forward to working with you!"

What the viewer does not know is that each distributor shipping out the info packs is an independent distributor, and we pay $29.95 for that pack... if the viewer does not return it, we are out that expense. Whether the viewer believes that the training pack is "worthless" is not relevant. The distributor pays for the information pack as a means of introducing their business to a potential business partner.

The vast majority of the distributors are honest and do their best to provide a quality experience for their customers and potential "partners" in business. There may also be some individuals that are, shall we say, not so professional.

To brand a business as a "rip-off" because of a bad experience is not fair. I cannot attest to the problems encountered by the individual, but I will list the following information...

For GPS Billing, Tech Support, or Customer Service, please call or email:
Phone: (866)653-7069
Email: support@thegpsoffice.com

To return a US Training Pack, please mail to:
GPS Distribution
16443 North 91st street Suite 102C
Scottsdale AZ 85260

I hope this is helpful.

One thing I do know, starting a home business has NO guarantees, any more than starting up a new restaurant or a new hardware store. Over 90% of ALL new business start ups, online or offline, fail.

The "employee" mindset of "I expect to get paid" does NOT apply to the entrepreneur. And labeling a company as a rip-off like this person did is just not right.

I to have bought the information from this company.  I only paid the 9.97.  I called the BBB and talked to them. They said that this is a legit company.  It is a start your own business plan and sometimes you have to invest a little money to start your own business.  I am thinking about it though.
