I bought an Xbox from Global Trader.Web on E-Bay. I was sent a faulty X-Box with E-47 Error. It was also advertised as a 7 day return to seller and 60 day warranty from X-box/Microsoft. When the X-Box broke I sent Global Trader.Web and e-mail stating what happened and they said that the seven day return policy was up, however, the 60 day warranty was still in effect. I went to the Microsoft/Xbox website and the warranty had expired last year on the unit. So.....The seller replaces (because he knows I am in still in the 45 day dispute **joke** policy). So I get the new X-Box in. The X-Box is also advertised as having HDMI port. A couple of weeks after I receive the unit I decide to play a movie in it and want to plug the HDMI cord into TV but guess what..No HDMI port. I immediately look online on Xbox/Microsoft website to see if there is warranty because by now I smell something fishy. You guessed it no warranty on this one either. NOW....I send the seller the details. Of course it is the usual 3 days before I get a response. This time he says that there isn't a warranty though X-Box/Microsoft that is through them at the I would have to pay $45.00 dollars to repair the unit. What???? The first unit he says that the warranty is through X-BOX and now he says it is through the seller??? So I will have to pay 45 dollars for a repair...what repair? I needed an X-Box with HDMI as advertised and that has a warranty as advertised! Well then I proceed to tell him that he must have lost his mind and that he would never see a red penny from me but he would be the one paying me. He then responded by saying the warranty has expired even though I have only had the new unit one and half months and it was advertised as a 60 day warranty. Also, I sent the first unit in within the 60 day warranty period. So when I call Paypal again they tell me that they have someone that works with this particular seller and they would try to talk to him!!!! HMMMMMMM.......Wow what a coincidence. This seller has thousands and thousands of transactions with paypal, they do not want to lose that money from Global Trader.Web.

Back to the story. I call Paypal again and they inform me that the 45 day day dispute period has expired and that I do not have any recourse. EVEN THOUGH I had to return the first unit within 45 days and have had the second unit under 45 days. The second unit does not qualify. What an absolute freaking joke and a great loophole that Paypal has to work with thieves. This is absolute outright fraud and I am considering hiring an attorney for this matter.

I was played and didn't have a clue.

Here is an overview.

Bought X-Box from Global Trader.Web

2 weeks later returned it because it was faulty. ( within 45 days for Paypal and 60 days warranty from seller) Was told today by seller that warranty was through X-Box. No warranty existed.

2 weeks later get another X-Box. 2 weeks later find out there is no HDMI as advertised and no still no warranty. Seller now says warranty is through them and not X-Box. Seller now knows 45 dispute period through Paypal is up.

Called Paypal again and I'm told that 45 day dispute period is up but since the seller has so many of these type of complaints and since he knew what he was doing and exploited the Paypal loophole that I could get a refund and to never deal with Global Trader.Web again. Like I would ever contemplate dealing with those 2 bit hacks again.

Today, received e-mail that I had no recourse and that the 45 day period is up to dispute the claim. Even though I was had to return the X-Box it doesn't apply to the one I was sent back. Even with the outright lies and blatant fraud this guy exposed the Paypal loophole that was likely set up by Paypal to protect thieves with a large amount of transactions to grow Paypals bank account. (See fine print in Paypal) This is outright fraud.

I have decided to make a new hobby out of this matter and possibly hire an attorney. I will expose Global Trader.Web and Paypal to no end everytime I have free time. I will never do business with Paypal or E-Bay again.
