on 8/30/02 i rec'd a letter from my MC provider crediting my acct. the amount owed.(GLOBALINX)
on 9/8/02 another charge of $54.90 was charged to the same acct.(PHONELINX)$.05 difference from last. i filed another error report. i had NO IDEA who these companies were and could not speak to anyone on their web site. i can only believe that i used my card # to verify my age not to be used for charging..the situation is still being investigated by my bank.
i rec'd an email today (10/9)from PHONELINX stating they were notified by their bank "that they MAY have placed the incorrect customer service tel.# on your credit card statement for changes from GLOBALINX to your PHONELINX services, for this they apologize." this was the first contact i had from them re: this matter. thier phone # 888-798-5200. this is still unresolved!
